:agree:

Take Shaqiri for example, clearly talented - but zero Football IQ, and the List of those Players is endless.

What an idiot he is, could be the new Messi but is just too lazy too become more intelligent.
you just mentioned, Shaqiri is talented but has zero Football IQ.
and then you said he is too lazy to become intelligent.

So that actually means....If a player isn't lazy, and works hard, he can become intelligent and attain good football IQ.

There. So Sturaro has the possibility to have football IQ.

Do you think Llorente has the possibility to have a football iq?

One of the worst footballers I've seen in terms of technique. He was playing the Pogba role today ffs :ratcafe: Seeing him attempting to combine with Sandro and Higuaín was funny. Not to mention his delightful 1-2's with Evra. An upgraded Padoin that shouldn't start many games.

Why he is playing in an advanced role i have no idea.

I think it's about stamina. He can go box to box more quickly and more frequently then any other midfielder we have right now. He can make runs in towards goal, press high and then track back. Too bad he has the touch of a rapist. For all the great positions he finds himself in he's been unable to capitalize because his shots and passes have always been mongrel ones.

We've probably seen the best of Sturaro over his time at Juve. On the few occasions he's been able to string enough games together (in a winning and on form team) he's consistently shown what his strengths and limitations are. His effort is first class but effort is only half the battle. He's often rewarded for his effort with opportunities to do something with the ball and that has almost always been where, apart from a few goals here and there, he's stumbled.

Sturaro is able to greatly disrupt and press the opponent from that position, allowing weaklings like Pjanic to cover the space behind and besides him.

It was working really well. When sturaro had to be subbed off, we greatly lost the ability to hold the midfield

With Sturaro chasing down so high up pitch and making all these runs... while they are useful they are pushing Khedira further down the pitch. I would if was Allegri seriously reconsider where I want what kind of movements. Maybe even try Hernanes instead of Sturaro and see where that leads us. Sturaro is a useful squad player that I wouldn't mind seeing around, he always tries his best and has a lot of grinta. But he isn't cut for a starting position at Juventus. In particularly, when it influences others negatively. We want chemistry afterall. Nevertheless, I would choose him before Asamoah since the latter is miles away in form and basically everything else (although I hope he can find his former self).

Milán owned the MF at the beginning of the second half with Sturaro in the field and almost only using their right flanks so we saw two different player on the field

Good to see sturaro imrpoving and getting some gametime. His grinta, tacking and passion remind me of vidal. too bad he can't pass or even finish a chance off. If he could he would have 5+ goals by now
