how did he fail to even get that shot on target? for fuck sake he was about 4 yards out, it would have been harder to hit it like he did than to miss the target.

Agent: ‘Sturaro was injured’
By Football Italia staff

Stefano Sturaro’s agent says the Juventus midfielder “was not in top physical condition against Bayern Munich”.

The midfielder replaced Sami Khedira with the Bianconeri 2-0 up in the Champions League tie, but attracted criticism for his performance, completing just seven passes and missing a good chance in extra-time.

“Stefano suffered a broken toenail in the [Coppa Italia] match with Inter,” Carlo Volpi explained to Radio Crc.

“He wasn’t in top physical condition against Bayern. He had difficulty even wearing boots, it went beyond the physical problem.”

The Old Lady went out 6-4 on aggregate after extra-time, and Volpi believes that will fire them up for the Scudetto race.

“The Bianconeri are very angry after the Champions League elimination, they were the same on Thursday morning as they were that evening.

“If a team totally dominates you and deserves to win it’s a different matter, losing like that causes anger.

“The litmus test is the Torino game, they can’t take any games for granted or look at the fixture list.”
wtf, really

we were aware of that before, but more importantly, did allegri really subbed in an injured player? (mandzu would have made it two apparently.)

i just can't believe it.

Why the sudden hate on Stefano? He's a solid bench option and he's 23.

Why would we sell him? :boh:
we should keep him, he's a useful squad player indeed.

FFS, if he wasn't even in shape, we should have played asamoah instead or rugani or anyone but a cripple.

Edit:

Wait... WTF broken toenail? Toenail!

Well, if you have a nail problem, it can be hurtful everytime you try to kick a ball. And even if running.

It is nothing that will keep you out of wor a normal dude...but for a footballer it can be painful and even recurrent if you keep hurting the zone of the nail...i suppouse.

Still...if he was hurt he should have not played. This seems like a lack of communication more than anything.

But it could very well have costed us the tie...among the other things.

Still better than Hernanes.
They are both unworthy of this shirt and hope they disappear before the next season starts. Midfielder that cant control a simple pass aimed straight at him, that is equally bad at passing the ball to his mate, that cant hit the target from inside the 5 yard box. I'll be damned.
