it seems morinho dont care about him , in last night game he came for matterazi then he was subbed again for crespo
yeah. and the juventus gave their warning to our management for the signing of stankovic. Don't know if it's a good thing though. Stankovic could have been a bargain-backup for neddy/Zanetti... But well... from what he said and so. i can understand both parties, but it's a missed opportunity, that's for sure.

By the way, where was the sense in that double-sub of stankovic? did mou need those 10 minutes to think about who to put in next? If ranieri would have done that, he'd have been insulted as a noob.

More stank talk

Legrottaglie Backs Stankovic Move

Juventus defender, Nicola Legrottaglie, admits that he would be happy to see Dejan Stankovic join the Bianconeri despite the fans protesting against his potential arrival.

The Bianconeri are currently looking for a midfielder and the Serbian is one of their targets.

However, Juve fans have made it clear that they don’t want an Interista in their side. Stankovic played against the Old Lady during the Trofeo Tim and he was booed and jeered by the Juventini.

Legrottaglie has reminded Juve fans of Fabio Cannavaro’s arrival from Inter in 2004, where they were quick to change their opinions on the former Nerazzurri stopper. The Stopper has also given the thumbs up for Stankovic's possible arrival.

It’s right that the fans whistle as they pay for the ticket and they are the twelfth man,” Legrotaglie told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

But they should remember when Fabio Cannavaro arrived from Inter.

“He was also treated in the same way as Stankovic, but then those who booed him quickly made him their hero.

“Stankovic is an excellent player and if he arrives then everyone here will be happy.”

The uproar was caused ever since Stankovic spoke about Juve’s involvement in the Calciopoli scandal.

The Nerazzurri player suggested that the Old Lady stole titles rather than win them fairly, causing Juve fans to turn against him.

I fail to understand the reason to go for him now? Sissoko, Zanetti, Poulsen and Marchisio + Ekdal is enough.

At Tim cup it was obvious that we lacked creativity when Camo wasnt playing. Why are we going for Stankovic while there are players like Vaart going cheaply to real.

Even without Camo some of our players can provide the creative spark we need. Giovinco, Marchionni, Zanetti, and even Poulsen seem to have rather impressie creative vision. I think we're well covered in the middle, and if Giovinco can play the way he has for the U21's and Empoli then our defensive midfield will only be utilised for strictly defensive duties. Personally, I don't mind having two destroyers in the middle with one being more creative than the other. the Zanetti-Sissoko partership is perfect in my opnion. Poulsen can also fit in well into the mix.

I'm not sure why I can't find this topic in this forum but let's start the mixed reactions and bring up the topic of bringing in Dejan Stankovic to Juve this year.

What do you guys think?

I think that despite teh comments he made against us during the Calciopoli, he'll still be a useful addition to the squad.

You guys can't deny Dejan has incredible passing and shooting (as a midfielder).

I think this new thread you proposed already had 51 pages of discussion. Killing the duplicate thread you started and merging it with the old one, already long in progress.

And please... not to be an ass about it, but just try to use the search function. You honestly and seriously cannot believe that on July 30th you were the first person to discuss bringing in Dejan Stankovic to Juve in a Juve forum. Can you?

But you'll probably have plenty of back pages to review and discuss here. There's a lot...

Now after Legrottaglie even Chiellini puts in a good word for him. Is the management forcing them to say this or what? We're packed at midfield with Camo, Brazzo, Neddy, Marchionni, Giovinco and the rest that play CM + we have De Ceglie who can play at left mid also, add the new kid Rossi who could be used if the other million options at LM don't work.

What's the point of getting another one? Is the board crazy? Oh yeah, he's cheap. F*ck him! He's done...he's a waste of a non-EU spot...injuries are becoming more constant lately...:blah: :blah: :blah:

The board says we're not selling Marchionni so I don't see the point in getting another mid. If we do decide to sell him then Stankovic wouldn't be on top of my list to replace Marco's spot in the roster.

COME ON! I must be hallucinating.

F*CK IT! I need a rest.
