Stankovic is a sensible signing. If Camo is out, we have to rely on Marchionni or Brazzo. Damn u Secco, "board", and Ranieri for not placing enough trust in a player who is always injured and one who cant dribble, pass or shoot.

Lets not act like Stankovic is any good anymore, have u seen him last season? Plus he is like 30 something, why spend money on him?

As JCK pointed out, 30 in September. His age isn't an issue.

He had a poor season, that doesn't make him a shit player. Every player has a poor season. He was great in 06/07.

Maybe a new environment, 1 with a strong dressing room and a recent history of rejuvenating the careers of out form interista can help him find his form. Well worth the gamble considering his price wouldn't be to high.

We definitely need some1 though. Marchionni cannot be relied on and Brazzo leaves alot to be desired. Y not take a gamble on some1 with loads of experience in Italy. We all know he is capable of good things when on form.

Marchionni but also Stankovic isn't reliable physically anymore. He got injured in training a couple of days ago and I'm sure he'll have little problems this whole season.

Age, minor injuries and such is irrelevant, when the issue is Stankovic has been nothing but quite poor for a long time. Pretty sad if we cant find other options.

stankovic had 1 poor season and everyone is acting like he is finished - maybe his season wasn't so great because he fell out with the manager? He's still a top level player and could offer a lot to juve, canna was crap at inter and a star at juve and i am sure the same would happen to stankovic - sure he isnt a spring chicken but he still has 3 year min left to offer

He fell out with the Manager? :howler: Shows how much you know and how desperate one is to excuse away his pathetic performances. He PLAYED every single game despite how bad he was, BECAUSE he is the lapdog of Mancini.

Shows how much you know! He played around 60% of thier games - 21 in total in the leage and not all of those games he started - so maybe get your facts straight first? And fine he was mancini's bum chum but still the environment in the club could have unsettled him. The guy has had 1 bad season - del piero has had bad seasons before but is he finished? trez had a bad season in serie b - is he finished? NO

When he didnt play, he was injured. He PLAYED at all times when fit to despite being their weakest player by far in the games. The only unsettling done in the club, was Mancini extremely favouring one player in a big way.

stankovic would be very useful in the squad. however i id rather have another player. it not like there arent other players like him. look at schweinstiger, rakitic, van der vaart, etc.

they are younger, equally versatile and they would all please the fans.

they are more costly but, we cant expect to have great players if we dont put some money for them.

ps: managment does have enough money to buy any of these players. specially if they sell tiago and almiron

Not that much costly when it comes to VDV, the most Hamburg are asking for him is 13m euro, which is nothing at all for a player of his quality. Though wont happen at all for us.

well surely if he missed half the season with injury then that explains to you why he wasnt in his best form.... there is nothing wrong with a coach favouring a certain player so dont blame him for that
