i dont htink we messed up alonso completely to be honest liverpool stalled cos they arent still very sure about getting a replacement for him, we got fed up and i think its out right to be pissed off cos of the delays. we shall see about stankovic though he seems like he is a step away from joining us.

Poulsen is not bad at what he does, break play up. But we have Zanetti, Momo and Marchisio. Not to mention he is a douche bag.

I think I would be very happy if we don't get Puolsen and do get Stank (that is how much i hate poulsen).
Xabi is making a mistake by not pressing Liverpool for the move and I think he will regret it if he misses out on joining us.

As for Stank he will make our team a lot better in the midfield, people are being to emotional to even recognize this.

and what if the papers say we are going to sign Mustafa Hankash, some 36 year old defensive midfielder, will that make Poulsen transfer a good move? :D

In this case I really don't think so. Having an a player who once loved Inter switch sides and come to us is not such a bad thing. Ok so he talked a little trash, we have all made mistakes and said stuff in the past we should not have.

The fact remains he is a very good player and with him in our team we would be more competitive that we were before. We need a player who can play in a number of roles and allow us to maintain quality. He can step in for both Nedved and Camo when needed and play in the center as well. If he comes he will be playing a lot and will be very useful. I would think he would be a starter for the most part.
