Stankovic as a player is very good but his attitude stinks. If he can change it then i guess he would be an asset with his versatility.

This would be a disaster imo - not hating on Stank because of him coming from Inter and all - I just plain hate him but more importantly, Xabi is just superior

Actually I don`t think that there is that much of a difference between Stankovic and Xabi
Stankovic is more attacking has some great shots knows how to pass the ball more versalite and knows how to defend as well
Xabi is more defensive he is clearly the better man defensively but less effective on the offensive end has good passes (I personally never saw him use his passes to make assists like Pirlo but you say he does it)
Stankovic chose Inter ahead of us a few years back so it makes me go against him but overall the guys are pretty even
the costs of those players however are not very even what could make you think that maybe Stank is the better option BUT then again Xabi is much younger...

Hopefully Stankovic doesn't come instead of Alonso. If both of them come together, that would actually be quite a coup by our board. Two seasons ago, Stankovic was brilliant in the Serie A and I'm sure he still has it in him.
The other possible scenario is that the Alonso deal has failed, and that Stankovic comes accompanied by some other player not quite as good or proven as Alonso. Cigarini comes to mind.

I'm sure he isn't an alternative to Alonso. Xabi will hopefully be anounced as a Juve player after Spain lose against Italy 
. Stankovic is a good player, for the right price he would be a good signing. Nedved is almost past it and there's always the chance Giovinco wont live up to expectations. Stankovic would then be very useful.

Stankovic has been consistently useless for Inter in LONG LONG while, by far their weakest link and barely average, so I REALLY baffled so many of you would accept him coming to us. And I mean purely as a player, lets not even start on what a douchebag he is.

We have done a deal with Inter for 29 year old Stankovic for 12m and 3.5 to the player per season. Liverpool request was 18m for Xabi and Juventus would not go past 16m. Any other player Juventus are to sign will be on players exchange only. As with Podolski, the offer is Tiago or Iaquinta
