And you know what? I'm sick and tired of having to defend myself constantly because everyone here thinks I'm wrong, just because they are so blatantly ignorant themselves.
If you don't want to defend your point of view, don't post it on a forum. :D

Can someone explain to me why Rosicky's name is pronounced the way it is? The commentators always say Ro-sin-sky or something like that. Do yuall know what I mean?
They're probably wrong. They also pronounce Gary Doherty as 'Dockerty' and Mark Kinsella's name gets mauled too. And that's despite the Irish diaspora in England. Think how much harder it is when the guy's a foreigner.

Same here I guess, but I don't stress the 'o' that much.

Finally! I've heard so many variations, from "Ned-ved to Ned-vi-ed to Nied-ved". Yep, that last one I heard while playing FIFA '98 or something, and I've never known for sure. Thanks :D

While we're at it, is it Kovazevich or Kovachevich?
I believe it's the latter, but I'm no authority on the matter. The pronunciation thread was a goodie
