OK I'll have a look at it :)

Upgraded to PHP 5.3.10 (Latest Stable), for some reason it only upgraded to 5.2.17 before (Old Stable) (had to change the sources.list)).

I understand but it's strange that you can't see vBookie, please post a screen shot :)

As for the new posts that's probably cookie related. Try logging out, removing your cookie for this site, empty cache then login again.

    NP mate :)

Just installed Nginx as a replacement to Apache, supposedly much faster. Let's see how it works out :)

Holy shit this is fast :D

me love Nginx long time. It was a bitch to make it work though but I think it'll be worth it

Will be interesting to see tonight while the match is on :)

Benchmark comparison. This is an older version of Nginx though:

Arggh been working on this all day. Finally got Sphinx Search installed :) Was pissing me off that it took so long to search for new posts so I bought a plugin for vBulletin that works with Sphinx. The main reason the site is slow is that all you bastards keep clicking "New posts" which causes quite a bit of server load.

Sphinx Search is an extremely fast search engine that replaces the internal Search Engine.

Oh and another interesting detail is that you can find out in which forums you've made your posts :)
    Read about Sphinx Search:

    http://sphinxsearch.com/

    And the plugin:
