I hope Catalonia gets the independence they want so much. I wonder who will follow their league where Espanol will be the second best team, while Girona and Gimnastic will fight for the 3rd place. I'd love to see if the best football players would like to join Barca and play in that shitty league.

I beg to differ. They are making a political statement, they believe they are justified in wanting an independent state, having their football club represent the locals is their way of making up for it.
