Bilbao played their hearts out against Real today, its been a long time since i've last seen a team play with such heart and passion. They deserved to win today, even though Real dominated the game.
They "parked their bus" sir as you love to call it. I thought people were calling it anti-football or ugly football or a death to football or whatever when the bus team was playing against Barcelona :eyebrows:

When a big team does it, i am always against it, because i believe big teams have an obligation to their fans to play at least a little football. Small teams park the bus and play anti football every week against Barca, i personally do not have much of a problem with that. But when a team as big as Chelsea comes to park the bus and not even try to counter attack Barcelona, thats where i personally draw the line.

Not really, thats just knee-jerk and ignorant Hoori (its unnecessary to do it as a big team when you are capable of more, but its a tactic like any else).

And Bilbao did extremely well, if you can defend and do it well, then kudos to you. Sevilla is similar, except Barca is bit more out of the box in their attacking scheme even if struggling. Real was too much Ronaldo in approach, they missed Higauin making things happen on his own.

Messi with another, yet again he proves he's still the very best in the world. Not the best of performances today, but two goals to make up for it.

Definitely, what a player. For some reason I have more of a football-player-crush on Iniesta though. I simply love his every move.

And no, I'm not a Barca fanboy.

Did you even notice how much Chelsea players had been running throughout the match against Barca (according to Uefa sire stats)? They played much more than just "a little" at that game. How to defend well in football requires skill and effort. And I'm sure Chelsea fans preferred their team to defend for 180 minutes and go through rather than play a beautiful football but to get eliminated in the end. Not to forget that even at that match, Chelsea' goal opportunities were equal (if not more than) Barca's.

But when a team as big as Chelsea comes to park the bus and not even try to counter attack Barcelona, thats where i personally draw the line.
Now this is definitely not true. You also used your "parking bus" term after Chelsea-Barca match in London while Chelsea had thousands of counters at that game.

Not really, thats just knee-jerk and ignorant Hoori (its unnecessary to do it as a big team when you are capable of more, but its a tactic like any else).
That's exactly what I'm saying. It's a tactic that many of teams are not capable of performing it well so it's not anti-football by no means whether this is a small team we're talking about or a big one.

And Bilbao did extremely well, if you can defend and do it well, then kudos to you.
Exactly. Bilbao deserved to win.
