News of the world says Barcelona are looking to break the world transfer record with a summer move for none other than Wayne Rooney. It claims that they would have to pay 85 million pounds, five more than Madrid paid for C. Ronaldo. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't want to live in a world were Wayne Rooney holds the transfer record

Whats even funnier is that the article says that the move is largely for marketing purposes. Still it is a sad day to see that figure even close to Rooney's name

Reyes is playing for Atl.Madrid? A starter?
Yup, started against Real yesterday.

Missed a goal already? Watching the end of the weekly "whoop small timers big time" of Arsenal. But they also typically just conceaded a set piece.

Are Barca playing well or are they complacent as usual this season?

We've been turning on the style lately, did you see RVP's nice little touch for Cesc's goal? Exquisite

Barca did not play such a good game imo, they obviously missed Xavi's presence in midfield, they didn't have anyone to coordinate their midfield play and were resigned to playing long balls from Pique and that Ukrainian guy(don't know how to spell his name).

But Pedro really is proving himself to be one for the future. Much better prospect than the overrated Bojan.
