I don't want to argue cuz it's a lot to write..it's all about own taste and opinion. And quaresma and c.ronaldo were in the same time..boloni found them and raised them to the first team (sporting). Quaresma was the one with the tricks and goals..and ronaldo followed his example and started to make the same tricks. Anyways, now one of them is one of the best in the world, and the other one moves his house twice a year..the world is cruel.

But I guess it's their development which was complety different, Quaresma chose to move to Barça and it didn't really work out, and he came back to Portugal quickly again. Where's as Ronaldo was gradually implemented under Beckham by Ferguson, there wasn't pressure he was allowed to settle and then now look. I guess Quaresma never really settled down, I don't neccarily think it's too late, but then again I don't think it'll work at Inter specifically.

Chelsea brought quaresma in january, no?...so the game relations were made up between the players, the time wasn't on his side as u said...he could not interfere in the core of chelsea..that's why he didn't made an impact. And i think it's a good move by not going to genoa..better to fight his way at a top club.

So, I guess those are some of the factors of why it didn't work out. I disagree with you on the second part though, it'll be good if he moves to Genoa he'll get more space, and playing time. It'll be harder to get into the Binter team after his first six months too bad he rejected it for his own sake...

Real Madrid have another £80m to spend before they leave the transfer market and Inter full-back Maicon is their next target, according to the Spanish Press.

The Spanish giants have already signed Kaka for £59m and had an £80m offer for Cristiano Ronaldo accepted yesterday.

Reports suggest President Florentino Perez intends to spend £220m on his team this summer, so he is only just over half way there.

Valencia striker David Villa is expected to join Los Merengues in the next few days while negotiations for Maicon are said to be underway.

The 27-year-old Brazil international was one of Inter's best players last season and is well respected across the world.

He recently said he is unhappy in Nerazzurro, as the club's directors are more interested in pleasing Zlatan Ibrahimovic than him.

Rocked by his comments, Inter look set to offer him a new contract as they regard him as one of their untouchables.

However, Real are said to want him all costs, as his signing would give greater balance to their shaky defence.

No matter how strong the midfield and attack are, you simply can't win much if you have only Pepe, Ramos, Heinze, Marcelo, Metzelder and Salgado in defense. They don't even have two players for every position. An injury of one of Pepe/Ramos and all goes to hell. After Cannavaro left, they even have one starter less than last year, when their defense was again too shaky.

Maicon is perfect solution. You get the best full back in the world, you make the CD stronger by putting Pepe and Ramos there and the only weak link in the team remains the LB, but even here Marcelo might finally explode.

With Maicon it will be a well balanced team. Strong keeper, strong defense with full backs who attack and defend, one or two players to cover for the attacking midfielders (L. Diarra and maybe M. Diarra), Kaka, Ronaldo and the attackers responsible for scoring.

It will finally start to look like a hell of a team.

Yeah, i understood what he meant but i was saying that we knew all along that it will turn out the way it turned out to be, so there is no surprise. Perez has everything under control and the teams that own the best players knew all this time that they can't control it.

Anyway, if Perez buys Maicon it means that Ramos and Pepe will play in central defense and Chiellini won't be part of his plan. If he buys Villa it also means that he'll have no intention to buy any of our attackers and if he gets Xabi Alonso he won't be going after a DMC so Sissoko is safe.
With Kaka and Ronaldo in the team he won't be looking for Diego, or even Giovinco, anytime soon and since he has Casillas he won't try to buy Buffon.

Perez getting the players he wants is a sure bet, we can't change that, it will happen no matter if we want it to happen or not, so i hope he'll get good enough players and he won't need to look at our players

That's not what I meant. I think Maicon is excellent and he's probably what Real needs the most. But this kind of spending is ridiculous. Especially because Real don't have any money.

If let's say that he is paying all this money from his own endlessly deep pocket (otherwise how on earth did they get all that money? what bank will give them all of that?) How and when is he expecting to get that money back? Is he a shareholder? so he will actually get some of the revenue. Or is he trying to force his way into being one? as "paying back" Real Madrid's debt to him?
