Yeah, I like that too. And what's even better: there is only one team that nearly always beats Real, no matter how good they are. I don't care if Real have Ronaldo, Kaka, Maicon, Villa, ... we'll still beat them. Because we're Juventus and they're Real.

How anyone can really love Real is beyond my understanding. That club has no identity.
How come? I'll always be happy if someone like RM chokes, but the same stands for Barca, Milan, Inter, Roma, english 4, Lyon, Bayern and so on. Of course the level of disliking is different, but RM definetly doesn't come first in my hate list. What's wrong with their identity? For me they seem as any other club.

wow madrid is really opening up the bank

i don't mind seeing him at madrid, i'm just glad that manure is being deconstructed ever so slowly yet so precisely

I didn't say Villa is not proven at the top level. I said that Torres is more proven at the top level, refer to my post again. By that i meant, that he has played in the CL and has proven himself there. Also he was last year one of the top 3 players in the world, Torres's season last year was better than any year Villa had.

Despite all that, i am not saying that Torres is better. I am just saying it's hard to choose between the two, and isn't as easy as most folk make it out to be. Villa is more fancy, don't make him better.

Well of course he is proven at the top level, he's playing in the Liga for fucks sake. I just think that he's made to look better than he is, due to the fact that the Liga is much more open than other leagues.

I wouldn't classify him as a top 10 striker.
i have to disagree here fred, i think that Forlan has found his club in atletico. he pretty much dragged the team through the end of teh season, he scored rakers with his left and his right(seriously,is he left or right footed?) and twice has overhauled Eto'o in the last few weeks of the season to finish with the golden boot. it is easy to write a player off when he flops at one club but excels elsewhere(sissoko anyone?i bet the english still think he is useless) looking objectively i have to say he would be a player i would snap up given the chance

Villa, Torres, Ibra, Drogba, Eto are the only ones you can say for sure are better then him in that list.

Trez and Ruud when they are healthy and scoring their usual numbers nowadays, are more or less same level as Forlan. He isnt a great layer, but a great goalscorer. Underrated, despite scoring heaps and heaps from everywhere, for fun.

Robinho wants to go to Barcelona.

Milan must be pissed for the amount they sold Kaka for, knowing how much Real is willing to spend
no,not really......listening to the englsih media when KAka was announced you would have thought they had spent millions on Carlton Cole

I don't know about you but Zidane's goal in that CL final is worth 100 Million €. Feel free to call it failure.
 absolutely sublime, the problem with Real was raul,carlos,morientes,etc....who got del bosque the sack and thought they were bigger than the club

I find it funny that madrid are buying so many star players yet bought a coach who does not have much experience with star players. Like the biggest player he had ended up frozen out of his squad (Riquelme)

Madrid should have really made sure they got a coach who can handle such a superstar team.

Im guessing im the only one who thinks that the Kaka and Ronaldo transfers will make Madrid a definite La Liga and CL threat next season.
Nop don't think they can, they need "alot" of work and time to reach that level. I wouldn't be suprised if they had a terrible season yet again....

there are a few around who have big personalities. Scolari would do very well with a team like madrid that are set up to play attacking.

Mancini could coach them.

I doubt Frank Rijkaard would but they could try for him.

If Ronaldo flips out when getting subbed by Sir Alex .. and calls him out on tactical choices after losing a CL final. How can the ex Villareal coach manage him, Robben, VDV etc..
