Barca To Intercede for Jailed Morrocan
The Blugrana are monitoring a case stemming from Morocco, where a young boy faces a prison sentence for pledging allegiance to 'God, homeland & Barcelona'
The Catalan club are gathering information on the case, where it is alleged that a young Moroccan boy was asked to write the patriotic slogan 'God, homeland and King' on his classroom blackboard, and instead substituted King Mohommed VI for his favourite Spanish side.
Yassine Belassal was reported to the police by his school principal for his supposed 'crime' and now faces a one-and-a-half year jail sentence as a result of his insubordination.
The case has been condemned worldwide by various human rights organisations who are seeking to relieve young Belassal from his wholly unfair punishment. Barcelona have became involved due to the boy using the clubs name, and they have liased with the Moroccan media in order to monitor the progress of the case and hopefully increase pressure on the Moroccan government to arrange Belassal's release.
Magda Oranich, the newly-appointed trustee of Barcelona, has been ordered to collect information and raise the issue with the Moroccan embassies in both Madrid and Barcelona.
It is unclear to what extent the club will strive to be directly involved in campaigning to release Belassal, or indeed how successful pleas in his defence will be.

yeah could not believe what i was watching, i mean we all know that atletico are porous at the back but this was an unbelievable game. atletico had a whirlwind start with a scintillating goal by simao and at 2-0 up you thought they might be heading for a win.
then ever banega(thank god we didn't get him) showed that he is a complete arsehole getting sent off and you could see the panic on the atletico players. villareal smelled blood and came out ferociously scoring 3 goals in 12 second half minutes, when they made it 4-2 you thought that the side with the best defensive record in la liga would coast to victory, it seemed a case of "how many"
but it looks like atletico's defensive lapses are contagious and 2 goals in 3 minutes secured an unlikely draw for atletico! it looks like if you want value for money then atletico are certain to be this years entertainers
