anyone saw real match yesterday , talk about luck . lavente played a great match and then at the end the penalty changed the match , i think this match tells it all as shown in this equation:

Barca = skilled players + injuries + bad GK + no luck = nothing
Real = ordinary players + no injuries + good GK + luck = WIN the liga

Surely you jest. Zambrotta is not playing poorly it is Rikjaard acting like he is tactically aware when he obvioulsy is not.

You do not take out your best defender, the hearbeat of your team to play as a full back to accommodate a player who is no where as good or as committed.

How many times do they look vulnerable away from home?

Zambrotta is a fantastic player and still the best left back they have at the club, not as good on the right but definitely better than Puyol or Oleguer as a right full back.

Those silly goals Barcelona give away would not happen as often if Puyol was there instead of Marquez, i mean look at how slow he was against baptista.

I dont know why you are crying about injuries as Barcelona have a good and big enough squad to cope.

Its not like Real Madrid have not had probs with Pepe, Heinze, Metzelder and Robben

Bernd Schuster is doing better than Rijkaard is doing with his squad thats all, the only gripe i have with him is his insistence on playing the hopeless Marcello, guys on here moan about Molinaro, I wonder what they would have done with marcello as our left back

regtarding Zambrotta , he is a fantastic player but he is slow and not consistant , in some games he is great like he was last weekend and in most of the games slow and cant defend or attack , at the same time marques season is better than last season .

but when you say that real have injuries like Pepe, Heinze, Metzelder and Robben , you cant compare these with etoo (injured for 3 months) and messi (injured for a month including the important real game) who are starting players and barca rely heavily on them whikle real injured players in defence can easily be replaced by other players since they have a great GK it is not a big deal.

Etoo, out for 3 months is a big blow but there is Thierry henry, Messi out a bigger blow as regards his form at the time but there is Krkic and Geovanni.

Zambrotta is not slow, yes he can look ponderous in a fast passing barcelona side sometimes but he is much better option as far as I am concerned than Marquez.

Puyol should not be played as a full back as far as I am concerned.

Besides Real's achilles heel is their defence and if they are missing central defenders it is a problem but they have managed to cope pretty well unlike Rikjaard that does not seem to understand that the 3 man attack works very well for Barca is Etoo, Messi and Ronaldinho are all playing well.

Change the system if they are not there for goodness sakes. He has completely runied Esquerro as he refuses to use the player under any circumstances

Esquerro is useless player , i mean most of the time he is injured and sometimes like today (when barca needs him in copa match) he is sick
IMO he should be released without money to go back to Bilbao

thats a daisy not a rose and tbh barca have had more than their share of luck over the last few years. these things even themselves out, it is only now without luck that rijkaard is being found out
