good to see real loosing points
Good to see you back.

It is just as well for you Real are dropping points because I haven't beem that impressed with Barca.

Bit of a one man (Messi) team from what I've seen. Henry and Ronaldinho haven't really got going, and Eto is obviously out.

completely agree...whats this i hear about Ronnie plotting a move to the Chavs??
It all sounds like bullshit to me.

Would be quite happy to see it happen. Chelski could waste another pile of cash on a player that would probably flop in the premiership.

Barca is not playing that good till now , FR is not using the players to their full potential , only messi is peroforming well , henry and ronaldenho is not in thier best form , ronnie absence from seville game is not known till now is it cause of injury or he is angry from the critisism and want to move to another club

We Are Going To Madrid To Win - Cúper

Héctor Cúper is putting on a brave face ahead of Real Betis' visit to Real Madrid on Thursday and sees no reason why his side cannnot cause a surprise.

The Argentinian coach is not feeling down despite not tasting victory yet this season and hopes that the midweek game can lift spirits at the Andalucian club.

Betis were beaten by Valencia on Sunday, but Cúper believes that there is not reason why they should be scared of playing Madrid.

"Even though it is a very difficult place to go, we will go there with the idea of winning," he said.

"Nobody can deny that we have a chance.

"It has come at a difficult time, not for us on the pitch but so soon after playing our previous game on Sunday which affected the players and has made them more nervous.

"I think that we can limit that and I think that game on Thursday will generate adrenalin in us."

After drawing their opening two matches and then losing the next couple, Betis have made a poor start to the season and Cúper admitted that things needs to change.

"I expect the childish mistakes from the past few weeks to be stopped, but they are collective mistakes and we have been working on them in training," he added.

Ruud Doubtful For Betis, Salgado And Drenthe Out

Real Madrid coach Bernd Scuster has made more than a few changes to his squad to face Real Betis at the Bernabeu on Thursday evening.

Gabriel Heinze has returned to the squad, with Michel Salgado being left out of the five-man defensive pool. Sergio Ramos may be called upon to play centre-back once more as Pepe and Metzelder's injury woes continue.

Royston Drenthe (pictured), too, has been rested, with either Sneijder or Robben set to take to the first XI for the visit of the Beticos.

But the biggest news of all is up front. Raul, contrary to earlier expectations, has not been rested. Indeed, he may be called upon to start alongside Javier Saviola, following the news that Ruud van Nistelrooy is doubtful with a calf injury.

The Merengues remain top of La Liga despite drawing 1-1 with Real Valladolid on Sunday evening.

The squad list in full:

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Dudek.

Defenders: Miguel Torres, Sergio Ramos, Cannavaro, Heinze, Marcelo.

Midfielders: Robinho, Diarra, Guti, Sneijder, Gago, Robben.

Attackers: Raul, Saviola, Van Nistelrooy, Baptista, Higuain.
