Kaka had at least achieved greatness in the game before Madrid bought him for that amount, Bale has did absolutely nothing in comparison to Kaka, and let's be honest here Kaka was twice the player Bale is or likely ever will be.

As for Kaka, one can't seriously compare Bale to Kaka in his prime. During that time and we're talking about a good 5-6 years at least, Kaka was one of the best players in the world. This guy had an excellent ball control, dribbling, shooting, passing, football intelligence, pace and in general more facets to his game than Bale.
Kaka from 2003-09 was one of the most elegant players in the world, winning a Balon d'Or and a CL, his fee was justified (in the bizarre bubble football lives in).
That's debatable, and even if it stood your point is redundant. Kaka was, when Madrid bought him, a much better player than Bale. You can't seriously expect a ballon d'or and chl winner to be compared with Bale who was one of the top players in England for a couple of seasons.
