I dont say "fake fan". In my vocabulary, thats a fan that switches teams to support (or claims he supports) depending on who's winning.
But there is a diffrence between real fans that support the team, and "followers". The latter "like" a team, and will follow it if its doing well.

Like, i'll allways watch the juve game. When i watch e-sports, i'll allways watch Naniwa (sc2) (well, watched), and Gambit (LoL). There are plenty other teams i see matches from, but usually only when they matter, are against big teams, and if its a replay from a game they won.

I watch all the games, I just can't help myself from falling sleep when the games have little importance and are so uneventful that I fail to be aroused. I don't even watch games of other teams or leagues these days anyway. I sometimes watch the ends of games of teams I want to see lose like Barca, inter, Milan, etc. But I haven't seen a full 90 minutes of a non-Juve game this season.

Btw, I'm not defending myself here. I'm not like some people that think being a "real fan" is somehow credit to you. That's so Badass Devil.

"real fans" are the guys that travel with the team when we play in siberia, and are there when we have midweek games despite working the day after. They give us our amazing chorus and atmosphere and directly support the team. I have respect for such fans. Knowing a few of those, i can see badass devil has a simular attitude.

I dont see less active fans as bad, but the active followers, are essential to football
