testing for doping is a joke, i really dont understand why they dont just allow everyone to just do whatever they want
I agree. It will even out the playing field and if athletes want to destroy their bodies so be it.
I disagree because it is not always a matter of "own" risk/reward decision considering the generally poor background most athletes come from and that the clubs might feed their players even without having their approval.

Are you against doping? Wouldn't it be more safe, if athletes use doping under more secure and controlled surroundings?
I don't believe in the "it's dangerous" argument, cause then we should ban boxing too.

Lance "The Testicle" Armstrong cheated his way to 7 Tour De France Titles. Doping will always exist in sport, so might as well let everyone cheat, so as to level the playing field :D
But we should accept those spanish fucks cheating? when most (?) other countries probably didn't

That's hard to define, and that's the problem.

Many athletes don't even know about the consequences, sometimes they don't even know what they are fed with so it's not a matter of their own will for which they have to accept the responsibility. Even if they knew the high level of risk and still decided to go for it, their decision would still affect professional lives of other athletes who want to be parts of a fair competition. So yes, I'm against doping not because it's dangerous but because this whole thing is not a single variable equation.

Also, I'm not one of those who won't at least try to dissuade a man from jumping off a building.

Everyone cheats Bro. The stupid ones get caught. Remember at the Olympics when America (the sore losers that they are) were accusing that Chinese swimmer of doping? He might have been doping, but I'm quite sure if he was doing it, there were at least a couple of American swimmers doing it as well.

Regarding those Spanish fucks, of course we shouldn't accept it. However, nothing will come out of it, because such revelations will do more harm than good. It's all about protecting interests and ensuring certain people and organizations keep making money.

I have couple of friends playing for the National Lebanese team and others for some clubs, I can confirm this. They barely knew what they were taking or more given when they were playing for the U-21 team.

You have to have some restrictions or else in the future we'll have 7ft mutants who can run 100m in 5 seconds, we'll end up with the Blood Bowl League.

I'm not exaggerating at all, of course.

The anti doping agencies should go hard, maybe get some media on their side and fuck them up.

I see this as a problem because of the current rules. We have to look at doping in a different view. The problem could be bigger because it's illegal.

This happened to our national weightlifting team as well.
The only difference is that your weightlifters knew all about it of course :D :p

Don't you dare go all Nic Cage on me Mofo :p

Getting the media on their side is easier said than done. In this case, the ripple effect doesn't apply.

so should alcohol be made illegal because someone may put it in your drink without you knowing?(i know you are the wrong person to ask this :p) And we are talking injections here, you would have to be a total and complete moron to keep taking daily injections and not suspect what they are. I see it more as i am looking the other way and ignoring whats going on.

I'm sorry, but those guys are idiots, or at least their dockters were.

Weightlifters are hardly tested in the offseason, and tend to use certain steroids that dont neccecarely build muscle, but enhance recovery and keep the joints in good shape. Like this they dont overextent themselves.

The products have welldocumented halftimes. If they get caught at a meeting, then quite frankly they made a huge error in the timing.

steroids are about the easyest thing to detect, and impossible to mask properly. A simple AAS machine can get crystalclear results.

This is also why floyd Landis is the biggest idiot in history, injecting testosterone in the tour. Seriously, Why not just let the needle hang out of your ass

"The problem with allowing it, is that athletes who dont want to use, are forced to be able to compete".

Nice theory. In real, they are all probably using something
