I wouldnt call either Vidal or Marchisio world class atm atleast by my definition of World Class..

They both have to prove it in this year's Champions League against tough teams..CL is the ultimate platform to judge players.
Vidal is a WC DM for sure, most successful tackles in europe when he played only 34 matches including Coppa.

Plus this :tuttosport:

So Marchisio's not world class. I guess we all figured that out by now, or at least I hope so, but he's still pretty damn good at what he does. Surely that does not mean he shouldn't be in our starting line up. The guy offers balance in our team, and as irritating his game imposing can be, he's still very much important to us.

Anyway, apart from Pirlo, I think we won't have 2 main starting CMs next season. I believe we'll be seeing a lot of rotation, and rightly so.

Yep, Croatia's goal, Spain's goal in the first groupstage game (ppl blame Giacch, but it was Giorgio who left his zone too eagerly) and ofcourse the finals first goal.

No one in the final was that great, but atleast Cassano and Balo had a better euro then Giorgio, quite clearly. And all midfielders did too, in fact as I said pretty much most who played regurarly except Maggio (total cack) and Giacch (wtf was he doing there). Best players were Pirlo, De Rossi, Buffon, Balotelli, as main 4. Marchisio and Monto fairly good/decent, exchanged games they were quiet to really good. Bonnucci the best defender, and Balzaretti was excellent and showed he should have played more.
I though so too, but as someone here pointed to me (and was proven 100% correct) that goal was mostly on De ROssi and a little bit on Giac. Giorgio was actually forced to leave his zone and cover for De Rossi who needlessly went to follow Iniesta and left Silva alone.

Yeah, as if we have world class players in every position.

I mainly say its Giorgio's fault because DDR and Bonnucci had already pushed forward a bit, Giorgio was last of them to do so, which was quite unnecessary in that moment (was DDRs zone, but it was zone that was overfilled with italians), too reckless. But yeah space that opened up wasnt just due to him, and I hardly expect more from Giachh's defensive instinct, but that zone should been Giorgio's.

The definition of "world class" differs so much from person to person that it's actually pointless to use in any conversation on football.

Marchisio was very good at the Euros, I thought. Shame for him that Italy were torn apart in the final.
