No. They knocked them out in the last U21 Euro competition in Sweden.
Only because Spain sent their B u21 squad.
Fabregas, Pique, Sergio Ramos, David Silva, Busquets, Pedro, Juan Mata etc were all eligible to play at that euro in 2009, but none of them was taken to Sweden.

Still they got beat. I'm not one of the idiot England fans but I was saying Thiago should not make himself look like a clown. Spain will probably beat England on Sunday but it won't be easy for them.

This generation of Spanish players (born 1988 and younger) isn't as impressive as their previous generations. This time they're taking more or less their best players, only Busquets is missing, and at least name wise their team isn't too special.

So? It's not like those players are included in the squad now. Argh! Arrogance has become a fashion in everything related to the Spanish football.

"We have many Wilshere's in our B team blabla" :yuck:

170 mils for ronaldo from city's sheiks, a 23 mils per seazon + he's assured to be the captain of the team and the teams best payed player as long as he's there. (sunday mirror)

That's some crazy numbers. I can see Mou wanting to sell him for that but I don't know if Perez would let him.

it's a minimum 150 mils profit in 2 years from ronaldo. But he can make money and help the team..if ronaldo is gone, real is gonna need someone like him..and i can't see anyone taking that role atm for them (hazard maybe..but still he's not that offensiv..sanchez cannot be compared)

I don't know if they neccessarily need someone like him. He's an amazing players but maybe they would do better if they didn't have such a focal attacking point.

I don't see him leaving regardless. He's got all the money he could want and is very competitive so he'll want to beat Barca and win the CL.

Thiago is just playing mind games, Sturridge and Wellbeck are good too. But yeah what England lack is in the midfield, as usual. Thiago vs Muamba  Hopefully will be fun to watch tonight. But overkill to bring Mata :D
