Have you been watching Barca lately Alen, the guy has been amazing in the past 3-4 weeks. Villa and Pedro have both been dropped because of how amazing Sanchez has been. Also today, even though he didn't get much of the ball, he's always been a nuisance whenever he gets it.

He's also such an excellent diver, fits incredibly well in Barca :agree:

He is a ready made diver. They don't need to teach him anything. All they need to teach him now is to make arrogant, irresponsible and unprofessional comments in the media about other teams so that he'll be a full fledged Barca player

Why am I suprised, that a quite fine/entertaining enough half we seen, and you guys are spending page and half talking about up a controversy that wasnt there, meaning a player who has a yellow doesnt get his second one in the first minor foul he commits. A yellow offence in its own, but as a 2nd one, that soon, and in non dangerous position nor that aggressive (fairly routine late tackle).

What to talk about with Messi is, he has struggled against the pressuring of Lassana, Ramos and in part Xabi, you rarely ever see him lose as much possession as he had in this half, some of them been dangerously deep, starting Reals counters. Not in dribbling form yet, saying that despite the moment of magic he set up the goal with. Reals best are Di Maria and its centre mid, though lets see how long they can keep the pressuring. Ronaldo has been so invisible that you wouldnt notice he was on the pitch besides that missed shot. Pretty ridicolous how many classicos he vanished from the gameplay picture.

And pretty ballsy and potentially stupid Pep changed mid game to his 3-4-3, or did they start with it? Because I dont recall Puyol being that far right at the first part of the half, and Alves was tracking back a bit then.

The ref will naturally tend to be more lenient to players on a yellow. I'm not saying he didn't have in his mind that it was Messi, but it would've been a harsh sending off for anybody. If it happened to Juve, I would be pissed.

I don't like how he puts his first name now. Is Sanchez too peasant-y?
True. Does Fabregas have Cesc on his?

This is a different type of game. Very tight spaces, hard for anyone to have any end product. But tactically he's been massive for Real. Real have been pressuring Barca high up the pitch, and Di Maria has been vital to that. He's pressing like crazy, in addition to that he's working very hard and tracking back all the time, he's also played the ball out of Real's half a few times by dribbling Barca players like they weren't there. I think he's having a huge game. Granted your right his end product in terms of his crossing and passing has been off, but thats to be expected really.
Well If i think about it you are right... But he Lost the Ball to easily sometimes.... He won a ball got past 2 players and than He should have passed the Ball but no he tried to take on another defender .... That made me angry :)

Sanchez wasn't diving today. And he's not a diver usually. He just has quick feet and a slight touch can make him lose balance. Kinda like Giovinco. But he was never so loud in Udinese, complaining all the time. That's what he learned in Barcelona :agree:

Agree 100%.

Especially about Pep reverting midway to 3-4-3 :sergio:

He dived like a champion for a non-existent kick.

Fuck Barca for going after Sanchez. He was Conte's preferred choice and he would fit so nicely in Juve. In Barca he can't show his individual qualities because everything (except Messi) is about team play and the system there, while Sanchez needs a free role to explode.
He has been in a great form, in and this weird 3-4-3 Pep likes these days, he is more vital, Messi drops and loams strictly like an AM almost, while midfield is packed, and Sanchez does what Villa cant, which is be super quick and alert with off the ball counter attacking runs high up, thats how he operates in this current set up, it suits him, its not the "take the ball and go loose" kinda Sanchez we are used to, but quite effective and nicely performing one nontheless.

P.S Agreed with you Messi been expertly neautralized, except that for one moment he got clear, pretty much punished for getting clear once (or twice, because early minutes he had a good chance).

Well If its a Foul that deserves a yellow card it doesn't matter when its made.... It was Def. a Foul maybe not a yellow( in every other game)... But xabi and another real Player got a Yellow for even less
