btw, Valencia lost in the Spanish Super Cup Final after tonight's loss against Zaragoza (1-3).

First game
Zaragoza 0 - 1 Valencia
Vicente (V)

Second game
Valencia 1 - 3 Zaragoza
R. Alvaro (Z), L. Galletti (Z), Corradi (V), Moreno (Z)

Aggregate : Zaragoza 3 - 2 Valencia
Now that's interesting isn't it?

Remember how Zaragoza beat Real at Santiago?

    Ranieri Disappointed At Supercup Defeat

Claudio Ranieri's failed in his quest to bring the Spanish Supercup to Valencia, as his team fell to a second leg 3-1 home defeat against Real Zaragoza to annul the 1-0 win from the first leg.
However, the Italian coach is already focusing on Friday's European Super Cup match against Porto, which he hopes he can win to forget this domestic upset.

"I hoped to win this trophy," said Ranieri, "But it didn't go well. We were too sure that we already had the trophy in our hands after the first leg away win. They were more motivated and deserved the win. The only positive note was the return of Aimar, whom I liked a lot. However now we must think about Friday's Europea Supercup against Porto."

Their Europewide hegemony has got to come to an end.

    I think they've had enough.

I cannot wait to see the refreshed Barcelona in action.
Barcelona against Real Madrid will be the match of the year.
