I think the greatest injustice we could do to youngsters is by hyping them up. it doesnt serve them well in the long run, besides unnecassarily heaping untoward expectations on them, they are further pressurized by the media. who should just let them play. in fact, during the euro when the some1 stated rooney to be the next pele, besides laafing my guts off, i just wondered how bad this would be for him in the long run. not only will he get arrogant with such unbelievable comparisons and so full of himself he'll actually lose touch with reality. and in doing so, lose his own game, which is not exactly the best in the world, but at a very decent level.
I couldn't agree more... :thumb:

Lets see.

I do agree that the pressure of American media and the way they are hyping up is not pretty. Maybe moving to Europe and concentrating on playing could do the trick. However, I do think he can develop into fantastic player.

the MLS just ain't the place to do that though.at the very least he should go to a league in brazil or holland where youngsters are given proper chances to develop their potential.

If he were on any other team with any other coach I'd agree with you, but Peter Nowak is not the type to rush a young player or to under-develope one. Freddy may become a great player, or maybe he won't but that will depend entirely upon him.

According to Italian medias Adrian Mutu is linked with Juve.
He is breaking up with Chelsea and now it is a challange beetwin us and Fiorentina to get him...
I know that he was suppose to go to Juve alerady many times but this time looks like we are really near to him.
What do you think about him in blak and white?
IMO is a good aquirement, especially cause Trezeguet and Del Piero are going down and is a big risk going on trusting them blindly. He will take out a bit of space 4 Miccoli but I think that we need 4 firt choice fowards as all the others big teams, now we have just 3 and 2 of them are in crisis from long, so who nows if they will do well next season...

As I wrote in "Moggi About Mercato" it seems that we are after a loan deal and yet we are ready to offer paying his salary which has been suggested will be €4.5m....

I'm not a fan of the idea: Mutu playing for juve!

We'll loan Mutu this year and buy gillardino the next(if he will be in the same form as last year)
not too bad an idea except gilardino's value would've soared and i can't imagine him wnating to leave roma or prandelli either.

i think loan him this season will be a good decision as we need someone to fill the gasps left by Di Vaio....mutu will fit the place...he just not suitable to EPL football style,he will perform good at italian football style that suits him...

what's with Fiorentina anyway? They buy players like they were Real Madrid or Barca or something........and I can sense, yet again they will blame their freaking arses if the club get bankcrupt once again.....
