Ritorno di fiamma per Mutu?
17 07 2004

Would be a very qise acquisition. Mutu has been completely under-utilized at Chelsea, so a move might do him some good.

I don't expect any golden shoe awards, but he's solid in attack and would make a great compliment to the team -- especially (and this is to Moggi's m.o.) while his public stock is trading at a year low.

Remember his 20+ goals for Parma a couple seasons ago? Not to mention his numerous assist totals as well, this sounds like a good move. He should be able to regain that stunning form under Capello. This also means the end for Di Vaio as well IMO.

i really dont mind if he joins. mutu offers both a support striker role and playmaker role. in reality, he is better than miccoli overall, but it doesnt mean that miccoli has to leave the club. Di Vaio could very well leave and mutu could replace him in terms of squad numbers in the forward unit. The only thing that worries me is that we have only trezeguet as a main striker in the team. Even though mutu is taller than del piero and miccoli, it doesnt he mean he can play as the main striker. Thats a mistake ranieri was making last season.

4-3-1-2

maresca emerson nedved

mutu

trezeguet del piero

nothing wrong with that line up.

Just a pity we will waste more money on him now. We should have bought him from Verona.

If this go throug then Zala and Di Vaio are out.

I like Adrian's formation, although its a bit too offensive, but I think Mutu could help us. He is a hell of a player, and if he can continue there, where he stoped at Parma, he would be a wise buy.

Honestly, I like Miccoli a lot better. Miccoli will take his chances this year, Mutu would only be in the way.

I wouldn't like us buying Mutu.

True, Miccoli should get his chance, but he said he wouldn't mind playing on the wing or any other position, because I think that a duo Mutu with Del Piero would be our version of Cassano and Totti.

Haven't seen this before, probably just a rumour. Wouldn't mind it being true though :)
What happened to "Mutu? We've got Miccoli" ?

:p

Where is Del Piero???!!
Even if u do not rate the guy u must realise that no juventus coach will ever have the guts to leave him out even Capello. Del Piero is the Raul of Juventus even if he does sumtimes desrve to sit on the bench and learn from his colleagues, however tht is a good formation and i would happily accept that...... If only Capello would.....
