I don't think that we even have Zala anymore, but I don't really care. DP, Miccoli, and Trez are enough for me. We don't need more than that if we fix the defense and midfield.
No, we need 4 strikers in case of injuries.

4 is the correct amount in my opinion , if u are playin a 442 formations, so we jus need a sub for the trez.

But i do agree we desperately need defenders.

Ok, right now we have Trezeguet, Del Piero, Miccoli and Zalayeta. The first three are definitely going to stay, but regardless of what Zala does we still need someone better than him to cover for Trez. Gilardino would be ideal, but I'm not sure if he'd want to sit on the bench when he could get first team football at Parma or Roma. Mutu isn't what we need, he's too similar to DP and Mic. Julio Cruz is an option imo as he would be pretty cheap. What do you guys think?

I reckon 5strikers is thre right number in the team: With 4 there is a sense of feeling that it is bit thin given a injury or suspension to player or two.
So there is always a need for likes of Zala IMO, who works hard, and have one or two attributes i.e. heading.

agreed, but why not use Olivera as 5 atacker instead?

I think it is better for Olivera and the club if he is loaned out and gain some experience and same for Benjamin Owanchi in our youth team. Zala is pretty good for 5th striker IMO, got good attitude, dont complain, on low salary, and can be thrown in when we are loosing because he is a big lad who can head a ball - Arsenal can testify to that.:)

Why won't he sit on the bench ? he is not Nedved or Raul, we are the most successful club in Italy, and in the top 5 club in the world, sitting on the bench of this club should be a honour rather playing for Roma or Parma, I mean who the hell Roma think they are ? They won bugger all compared to us.

I do agree he would benefit from a loan, but I just would like it if Juve for once could keep a youngster in the squad, Del piero and Trez is injuried a lot, so he could quickly become 3 choice, and he seems more interesting than Zala
