With the growth of Islamophobia and anti-immigrant movements in England, how do those Man City fans who sympathize with these movements deal with the hypocrisy of supporting a team funded by a Sheikh?

Are the City fans aware of the fact that your sugar daddy, Sheikh Mansour, funds madrassas that teach their students "Sharia" Law?

How will City deal with being so much in debt?

What impact will the new financial regulations have when they come into effect?

Is there a plan B if the Sheikh were to die...i.e. are there other sugar daddies lined up?
These are actually interesting questions.

The funniest thing is that they consider themselves a top 4 club.

I thought you had to finish at least 4th at the end of the season to be considered for that - not just make a brief cameo before dropping out of the race.

Anyway, it's going to be interesting to see how many "City fans" are still around when the money dries up and the Sheikh looses interest in his play thing. Back to scraping the bottom of the barrel methinks.

Man City helped a bit.

But it's more about the bigger picture. Turning football into a game between wealthy owners rather than making it about building a club from the bottom up.

They're fans of the club that ruined football. It was only a matter of time.:D
:howler:

Ruined football. Sure thing. The Liverpool's and Manchester United did a good job at that by paying inflated transfer fees many years ago.

It's just sheer jealousy with City at the moment. Just no other Manager wants to admit it.

You mean selling Kevin Keegan to get Kenny Dalglish?

Our highest fee paid for a player until Torres was Cisse at 14 million euros.

Jealousy, don't make me laugh. Of course anyone would want a Sheik Daddy to buy their way to the top, it still doesn't justify purchasing Lescott and Milner for almost 30 million pounds each. Guess that's what happens when trailer trash wins the lotto. HIYO!!!

Go wave your blue and white flag and sing your Elvis because your love for Juve is oh so strong. Fucking clown.
