Hey. Any of you guys know how to adjust the brightness of your monitor/display.

I recently changed my monitor and everything just appears so bright now. Too bright.

The colours of websites also look different. Any ideas?

Grazie.

the old ones have knobs on them.

mine's got buttons and a knob. the way that works is each button represents brightness, contrast, size etc. so u select one and turn the knob to adjust.

I dont know what you got but if u dont know what to do go to the manufacturers website

This one doesnt have any knobs for brightness, contrast or whatever. Only for screen size and they.

Anything to do with control panel or sumin? I am under Win ME.

For one thing you could try "Power Strip", makes it easy to do it. Otherwise Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced and there could be options to set brightness in there depending on your display adapter/drivers.

    What exactly is "Power Stip".

I will try the control panel one. Thanks.
