we are still chasing benatia which is a potnetial 24m, cuadrado which is potential 24m, we got pjaca coming in for 25m... how much would that leave us honestly?

Juve in the last 5 years havn't spent more than 32m on an individual player (dybala)
Each year there have been increases in our budget, and we underspent last year. 5 years ago team revenue and operating income were 169 million and -27 million. The last figure out of March saw an annual revenue and operating income of 406 million, and 116 million. During that time, net debt only increased 50 million and has come down from 210 million in 2014 to 175 million. Purchasing trends from 5 years ago (or even 2 years ago for that matter) are pretty meaningless now.

Pjaca for 25m so it leaves us with 35m (morata money and if we sell zaza for 30m) which is not enough for todays market. keep him and see what he can do
You talk as if Juve only depends on sales. [like Juve cannot add some cash]

It is amazing how much people here underestimate our financial capacity. This isn't a zero sum game on arrivals and departures. The team generates cash, and has an underleveraged balance sheet.

We are very prudent financially, almost too conservative at times. We could go the other extreme, and run the team like Roma, and the team would be star-studded, but the team would constantly need equity injections. That is a long way from our current position. We could afford to put on another 50MM-75MM EUR in debt on the balance sheet, and run a cash neutral cash flow policy for 2 years if we really want to win UCL.
 Good post.

That's how I feel. Zaza isn't much better than a Mattia Destro or Pavoletti. You could sign a player from Serie A and fill his shoes from <10 million and then use some of the Morata funds + 30 million from Zaza to buy a top end striker.

Pavoletti as a 5th striker? sign me up:

15 goals in all competitions this year. He is an extremely strong finisher, very strong in the air, good at set pieces, and actually not that slow.

We focus so much on strikers from other competitions without taking a look at what is available in Serie A. As a reserve guy, Pavoletti would be ideal.
considering the sale from Morata and potentially Zaza I expect a top calibre forward with that money, I'm a little concerned to think that we may go into the season with 1 natural centre forward in Mandzukic who in all honesty isn't exactly someone who is consistent nor relatively injury free. That said if we sign someone like Cavani then we really are ready to challenge for the CL.

Wolfsburg had a positive meeting with Zaza's agents in Germany. If Simone joins them, Juve will receive €25m plus bonuses. [Di Marzio]

He's a goner
