352 is working fine this season with a proper WB. It's perfectly fine for now.
Marotta tried getting Pastore, Draxler, Hamsik, and even Vazquez. Those names were confirmed. There were also rumors about us attempting to sign Oscar, Gotze, and Isco. None wanted to move to Juve and/or their club didn't want to sell. It's not really some complex, mysterious puzzle that's hard to get.

I know you can see it too. Do it!When i see how well this current 352 is doing, i wonder, why do we need an AM ? Because despite all this talk of "allegri's preferred formation", he set a pretty excellent 3-5-2 down.
Gets the best out of all players, except perhaps cuadrado, wich is a loan, and whom has not shown any higher class then the players who this system is tailered towards

It is working indeed. But I see no reason to believe why going back to "Allegri's preferred formation" with a proper TQ can't either.
If anything having both to choose from whenever the boss sees fit should be our goal, like it was last season. Very few teams can properly switch formations during a match and still get the best out of the players.

Yes offcourse. If we see an opportunity to sing a proper TQ, we should take it. But we shouldnt signing a top class TQ "just because". Its about excellent opportinities

exactly. we dont really "need" a TQ at any cost, like many here would like to present, since we are doing great for now without one. but if there is one available that fits with the project and the club mentality, Marotta will take the opportunity ofcourse. well see in the summer if such opportunity presents itself, but if not, i can see us not buying one again.

and Pereyra is a great option there, better than many of the preffered players around here. it will be interesting to see how often Allegri uses 4-3-1-2 once he returns

It's nice that the 3-5-2 has been so solid the past 2-3 months, and the addition of Sandro has definitely been a nice boost for our width and industry down that flank. But what about tactical flexibility?
I still think it's a good idea not to become too dependent on a single formation, particularly in CL, where the tempo of the match and the quality of the opponents often take a big step up. Last year, I loved how Max would shift our formation in-game, depending on the situation. It was a big advantage for us, imo.
Our best personnel is obviously not well suited to a 4-3-3 right now, and one of our strengths last season was our tactical flexibility. I do think that we'll see Allegri/Beppe looking for a CAM this summer, all things considered.
And, without doubt, we certainly need another quality SS. There is definitely not enough creativity up front, we saw that earlier this week against Lazio. If Paulo were to miss an extended period of time right now, our domestic and European ambitions would be in a lot of trouble.

Well, I don't think we would sign a "top" TQ for the sake of signing someone. First because it will hurt our pockets a bit, they don't come cheap. If we sign one of the best around it will be for his quality. That aside I agree we shouldn't waste our times on the Saponaras of the world. Winter window isn't really when we spend big.
stick to 3-5-2 for now and leave it for next season.
Unless, of course, there's a good fair priced opportunity signing up for grabs. Then balls in I say.

That ability to play both a fantastic 4-3-1-2 and 3-5-2 is what allowed us to come within 25 minutes of winning a treble last year, and likely will be needed again this year if we want to have another amazing year. Especially if any of our CBs go down for any period of time.
There will be matches where having the numbers in midfield that a 4-3-1-2 allows will be very beneficial. Hopefully Pereyra gets back on his feet quick and continues his development into an excellent player.

I'd be very happy if a top TQ was available for 40-50 and we pounced. But I also won't be distraught if it doesn't happen.
My wishlist would be a young RB/RWB to rotate with Licht, and a vice-Dybala of some sort. Pereyra is good enough at Treq for the formation to be viable for us for the time being. He may even turn into a top class AM over the next couple years.
