I agree, but it's a tough call. And here's why. First of all, Krasic has been poor for a long time. Not only in pre-season, but in the closing stages of last season as well. Second of all, Pepe did really good against Parma, and it would leave a negative impact on his morale if he feels that such a display can't earn him a place in the starting lineup.

That said, the team selection is also based on what's going on in training, and I have no idea how either Krasic or Pepe is doing in training at the moment.

But based on what I've seen lately, though, it's actually Pepe who deserves to start, not Krasic.

But at one point we need the serbian to hit top form, so I wouldn't mind starting him against Siena.

I think Conte is going through a dilemma on this one. I expect Pepe to start, but we'll see.
