Honestly now, do you really think he did something good offensively? Look, I agree with you that he was good today. He ran a lot and was hustling and doing a great defensive job, but offensively? With the ball on his feet?

I don't what you were watching, but the guy isn't talented. He just work hard and run harder. Nothing special about his passes or shots. He didn't beat defenders and caused any type of destruction by cutting in or etc. He has high work ethic. He is a good winger, and if Juve are going to depend on players like him to bring glory back then have fun watching a medicore Juve that will be fighting for 3rd or 4th place on a regular basis

I don't think he was talking about corners and free kicks.
When he gets the ball and make a run he isn't capable of beating his man. He run run run then stop turn his body and pass it back to the midfield or the LB if he is up. He didn't didn't do any of the stuff a modern winger expected to do by running at defenders, cutting inside and outside. He shot directly at the GK nothing spectacular. He jusr works hard, that is it.

We need somebody who can create chances on the wings. If we're selling Diego and going back to the 4-4-2 our wingers will have a really important role and need to be creative.

And nobody expects a another player to be Messi.

Man, this guy really is a winger version of Iaquinta. If he could dribble he would be really useful but as it is now he's ok.

I agree with you, he won't help this team offensively and to be honest, for 4 years all I've heard was "don't sign this player cause he's not good enough defensively" or "he should play cause he's good defensively" and all we've gotten is shit results. We should start expecting less defense from our offensive players and then, maybe then, we'll become better offensively.
