No, he would only be suitable for CM where he played for Santos however that is not going to happen. I agree with Deneb the 4-4-2=No Diego. We should try for Aguero.

He doesn't have a powerful shot, but if you place him on the edge of the box he is more than capable of beating his man and then placing the ball in the further side and curling it. Diego in the midfield is lost because he has no support, and usually beat 1 or 2 opponents and then end up doing nothing better after that because he is far away and can't shoot, and non of our players know how to open up space and make the right run or feel like running except for Yaqwinta. Put near the box and he should do plent of damage. I see him as a better trequartista than a playmaker.

Based on the few games I have seen, I thought Sanchez was more dangerous with the ball, and the way he runs at defender is more effective than Pepe. Add to it he is way younger. Pepe is fast but he is poor on the ball, and less technically gifted than Sanchez.
