i used the FM DB editor and edited some of the stats of some players and saved it.

but when i started a game using that DB, then the stats hadnt changed! though the addition of Lorenzo Di Silvestre to Juve worked, even his stats were unchanged!!!

am i doing something wrong burke?

I still haven't downloaded it. I'm hesitating because that ish takes up so much time and I end up put important things on the back burner. Maybe one boring day.

I think it depends on the league you're in. Though you may be able to change that on the preferences panel. I don't usually mess with it as I like to get all 20s on the manager profile.

Don't change their stats, go to reputation and change their current and potential ability.

200 is the max and if you do that, the players are like gods, so I say if the player is 120 or 130, change it to 150 for current ability and potential ability to 165 or 175 depending on how good you want them to get.

Okay, what is the best editor to use? Mac compatible, too.

Use the editor that came with the game, yo. DL and install the patch first though.
