I sold Almiron for 8.5 million to Villareal, Zebina for 9 million to Roma, Olivera for 5 million to Atalanta, i gave Mirante to Sevilla as part of the Alves deal(I saved about 13 million by giving them Mirante, who was worth 4.5 million), i sold Birindelli for 1.5 million to Empoli, I sold Boumsong to Reading for 7 million.

I've been wondering the same thing.

Hey you have problems scoring penalties? It's pretty much impossible to score a penalty. The odds are stacked against the striker. I missed 2 penalties in the same game with the most capable penalty taker on the squad.

I always let a midfielder with good penalty scoring abilities take the penalty, never a striker, at least not as first choice.
So far, the one I got, gone in.

David Pizarro missed both of the penalty calls againts my team , both saved by Mirante :eyebrows:

I always set the player who has under 20 penalty taking attribute , i prefer under 20 and above 17 , and it's work well so far

I rarely miss penalties because I don't care about the penalty attribute, it's more the mental and finishing one. If guy has great determination, composure, finishing, PK taking, and sometimes even technique.....he will be an amazing PK'er.

I believe it does, i noticed this on a number of occasions , I had lots of attackers who were goal machines when play on one side but when I put them on the other side they can't score a goal, or if he isn't scoring goals I move him to the other side and he starts scoring goals.

A little tip for Football Manager amateurs (*cough* Ze Tahir *cough* )

If you have 2 strikers in the lineup:

- Right footed striker always on the left side

- Left footed strikr always on the right side

- If a striker doesn´t have a preferred foot then place him on whatever side and he´ll bag goals equally on each side

well i finished my first season, i only got vdv and i was equal on points at the end of the season.However for some reason they gave the title to freaking milan without us playing off!

This keeps saying that he is not cheater and still using cheating programs like FMM And in his "tutorial" he didn't said nothing new, we all know that we need good scouts, coaches and to play games.

And about FMM the program is grear, I just downloaded it and tried it and it works perfectly, however I'm not gonna use him in my Juve game cuz I don't wanna to put stain on my success without cheating.

Btw, does anyone know good page where I can download all the latest updates for FM08 and facepacks and kits???

Check the composure. I have Gerrard taking my spot kicks because he has 20 composure, even though he is only like 15 at spot kicks. He's 3-4 this season.

I have my set up like this.

Torres - Owen

Torres has 30 goals for the season and Owen has like 10 (at Pool) because until Owen got on the squad he was playing beside Kuyt/Veronin who isn't a finisher. But since Owen has come they've been pretty even, though more balls are played to Torres just cause of his positioning.
