I need some good defenders for Atl. Madrid, the attack and the midfield is good, but my defense is a leak, anyone know one or two good CB's or LB's and RB's I can sign for under 5MEuro?
Age doesn't really matter for me.
It is the first season.

This is my new formation.

4-4-2 Diamond Attacking from standar position.
Team instruction :

Don't change the slider.
Focus passing --> down both flanks.
Marking --> Zonal

Ticked all ,except play offside trap.

2 Fullback ( try to find Fullback / Attacking Fullback for this position) Player instruction set to fullback.

maybe like marcelo on left and dani alves on right.

2 Centerback (Decisive or strong centre back) player instruction set to centre back.

1 DM (Cultured or Tenacious midfielder) player instruction set to defensive midfielder.

2 Winger (Flamboyant ) player instruction set to winger.

1 AMC (Midfield Playmaker) . in team instruction tick use playmaker. and in instruction set this player as playmaker. Player instruction set to Attacking midfielder.

I suggest Van der Vaart for this position. or maybe Diego.

Striker :
1 Towering striker. height 190++ , great jumping heading. if you got 1, set him as Target man. Player instruction set to Target Man.

1 Fast striker (Great Acc , Pace, Composure, off the ball, finishing)
Player Instruction set to Striker.

If your player get injured and you played the non-playmaker or non-targetman, untick use playmaker and use targetman in team instruction.

With this formation, I get 3 straight win with 3 goals++.
Bradford 3-0
Man Utd 5-0
Twente 4-0

Not conceded for 3 match. Beat Man Utd (EPL leader atm) 5-0 :D

So for anyone who struggling with tactics, u can test my tactic. And I hope it work for you too :)

I finally got back into the game, finished 2nd in first, won in the second season(cle semis) and know in the third season the game crashed for me. It crashes at the same time every time I try and load my save..

It sucks so bad, I made such a good(Italian) team. :(

True that. I bought Rossi and some other good youngsters that developed in the game. My only regret was Rosina who chose Milan over me, because of that I bought Quaresma who was the only non-Italian in my first 11 in my third season.

I bought Mario Ballotelli(from Inter), in my third season, who is younger and better than Pazzini. Check him out, after 2 seasons he develops really well, he's a wonderkid and paired with Rossi they kicked ass. I payed him over 40mil, even though he was worth 8. Damn Mancini doesn't like me and doesn't wanna do business with me. I'll be honest though, I wanted to buy Pazzini at first but Prandelli kept rejecting me as well and then I found Ballotelli. :D

At 1st season, Juve's scout is already set to scout Italy player.
and I remember that our scout give 6 or 7 stars for Balotelli's PA.

40 M, that's a very BIG :money:, but I think he is worth every penny you throw to Mancini's ass

Oh, and this is the result of my tactic 4-4-2 Diamond that I posted recently.

what is better?a)closing down often or not b)marking zonal or man?
I don't think it's a good idea to set closing down often to your players, especially for center back. Because the CB will closing down player with ball.

If your 2 CBs closing down 1 player with ball, it will leave space for the other striker.

    B. I prefer Zonal marking... if you want to go with man marking, you should do with a player with great marking, positioning and tackling.

This is another results for 4-4-2 Diamond
    Chelsea end the straight win

I lie to not close down because it just contains the players until they make a mistake versus going right after a guy and if he has a great dribbling ability he can just go right around you.

I also like zones marking because it doesn't make your players get all out of position.
