Guys can you help me out here..
I've never bought a player.. So I am new to this. I keep on placing bids for players but the clubs reject them.
E.g Baregli valued 9.7M my bed went as high as
3M fee + 15M installment over 24 months + Gianchedda (they want a centre midfielder) + Miccoli.
They still refused. Am I doing it wrong, is there a proper way of buying a player in this game?
I also did the same with 2 other players and things went as this has gone.
What I am doing is declaring interest in the player. The player replies with acceptance and flatter. I sent Ferrara to get a scout card and he gave the approval.
The problem is I have only 2.8M transfer budget for this season (except if I can sell players and make use of the money). I already have Zebina setting of to R. Madrid for 4M. So I've got a total of ~6M to pay as fees.

did u download it?
if yes when you the genie scout application opens, there should be a button on the top left hand corner that says load game
after loading the game go to search-then to player search
u pick specific data about the player(position, age etc) then press enter

Well I cannot pay cash because I only have 2.8M. Do they accept installment? As in paying 5-6M downpayment financing 20M over 24 months? Because the last I've done was to put 3M downpayment and 15M installment + 3 players which they turned down. Is it because I am asking for an answer the next day? Do I set it to next week or leave it open?
And is Barzegli in the game worth the huge amount of money? If I put such an offer on the table I'll be paying around 1M each month for 2 years? Is that ok?
I am not looking forward on buying lots of players..
I may off load Giannichedda and make use of Marchisio and Tacchinardi (coming back from a loan). I should get 4-6M on Giannichedda. I am hoping to sell Micolli for 7M or a little more. Plus Zebina is being sold for 4M.
My plan is to get 1 or 2 deffenders + 1 midfielder (attacking midfielder).

Giannicheda will get you 1 million max.

Buy Vanden Borre for 2.8 million euros. And Zapata for about 7 million. As for a midfielder loan Gourcuff from Milan or co-own him for 5 million.

Nah, he is not hat good in my game, and Cardenas could not fit into my system.

i found this storming attacking mid called emerson i dno if he's one of those buyable regans, but i tell ya sumthing over time those brazilians are so overrated and go for really cheap.

sure but don't set a date for players that are in demand.
Barzagli was the star of my defense till he was 34, then I found his replacement in my Primavera team(Di Stefano, what a player!!!).

finished seriab in the 1st place, won the cup. and then all these bastards from loan came. nobody buys them, nobody wants them on loan. wages exeed the wage limit by 40 thousand pounds per week. i cant by anyone. maximum wage for a key player - 10 thousand puonds/ week. the board sucks

Im in the 08/09 season. Im doing pretty well atm. I finished 3rd last season, while winning the coppa italia and UEFA cup. Havent spent more than 13 mil on 1 player (Mascherano) and my team is playing much better than Milan, Inter, Roma, etc who are paying insane amounts of money for players. I have invested alot of cash in good coaches and I see the difference it makes. This summer Im going to have tons of cash to spend thx to the CL cash and a new sponsorship deal I have this season (6 mil compared to 1 mil last season). I need a good rb and my team is complete. Barzagli is a waste of money. Felipe only cost me 7 mil, for 20 tackling, 19 marking, 18 anticipation, etc. Barzagli is a tad better, but not worth more than my offer of 24 mil Palermo rejected (sold to Chelsea for 29.5 mil).
