Should Ranieri Stay or Go? (Part 2) (10 Viewers)

Should Ranieri stay or go?

  • 1- Enough is enough, fire him!

  • 2- He is bad, but we need to keep him until the end of the season

  • 3- Keep him! He is the best option

  • 4. Get the coach of Albinoleffe because he'll surely take us to CL. I mean, everyone's better than R

This team needs a fresh air, the players are not happy anymore, they will come to a point they will want to live. Buffon is mad, so is Camoranesi for getting subbed for Nocerino for 100th time, Iaquinta's great form is ruined by Ranieri, he keeps freezing him in the bench, Tiago's value is decreasing every single day, Nedved is mad and angry to have these idiots around him, Palladino probably our only young product who went the furthest step possible, also he is playing in different position each day, can't you see the atmosphere in the team? I think we lost Buffon already..

Ma c'è dell'altro. Ovvero la Juventus. La sconfitta con la Fiorentina, un certo malessere della squadra hanno allertato i vertici bianconeri, tant'è che è prevista una riunione nella quale esaminare il momento e le prospettive. Ranieri è in discussione?

    :) :) :)
I don't believe this article, but at least there's something going on in the media, and cobolli & co maybe are really thinking about this.
The article itself does not give any facts or so. Just that lippi might have to chose between barca and juve for next season (should he accept a job). The article states that he had been asked before ranieri, but let the offer down claiming he "would not feel ready, in future? one never knows".

As far as my opinion goes, i won't think barca will be a competition. I just can't imagine him going to barca, will all that pressure (it's not an underdog, as we know)... i'd say juve, or nothing for lippi.
Let's just wait and pray he comes back to the old lady and shows us all what we are able to.

Btw; some people here have some exagerated views about all this. Even if he comes, don't expect him to play god. he won't be magically turning this team into an unbeatable-goal-machine. For he won't have any better players as ranieri. He too will have to deal with molinaro not being able to cross, legrottaglie f**ing up in defence, nocerino hitting the ball to the-middle-of-nowhere, aso. But i think with lippi, we'd have a great prospect for the oncoming years. Just my 2cts

Alen explained everything needed out there with facts.

Others are explaining things with their imaginary facts. They think it's pretty easy to coach a club in such a timing, atmosphere, situation.

The problem is in your logic that you don't accept counter arguments. I can give you names as much as you want. Vialli, Conte, Zoff, Sacchi, Lippi (If he doesn't want to be our manager next season, he can sign a contract until the end of the season and then leave, he said himself that he wants managing and that he is ready). 5 names enough for you? I can find you more if you want!
    No, Snoop, this i accept.
I already said that i accept a good coach to replace Ranieri, even at this very moment.
My only point was not to rush with a decission and replace him with any available coach, even if that available coach is some anonimous guy or stuff member.

My fear is that we won't find a suitable coach to lead the team in the next 2 and a half months. Only that's why i won't fire Ranieri at any cost.
But if there is a good option, and i mean REALLY good option, then i'm all for it. Fire him today

you problem is you want to stay optimist, and you don't want to admit that Ranieri run out of solutions.
In last 2 months i'm one of Ranieri's biggest critics. Just read my posts in the LIVE thread or the post match comments.
I'm aware that Ranieri may cost us the 4th place, but i'm sure that 99% of the available coaches in March will surely cost us the 4th place.
That's why i don't want to rush with a decission.
In order to find a suitable coach we have to start negotiations, we need to make a great offer that the new coach won't reject. That takes time.
But since we don't have time and we want Ranieri out now, then we'll have to settle with some anonimous and inexperienced coach. This will, imo, cost us much more than keeping Ranieri will.
Now, if the negotiations with some good coach have already started a week or two ago, that's another story.

Actually, you and I don't have much different opinion of the matter. We disagree about some details only, so i really don't understand why did we foolishly rush into an argument.

    Cheers

The Inter comparison pissed me off, because that's totally different cases, when you put that in, it looked like you wanted to argue just for the sake of it. (anyway let's leave that away). :pint:

We agree in everything here, I myself don't want to do the same mistake we did with Ranieri, I was very mad when we replaced Didier with him, not only because I wanted Didier to stay, but because we didn't sign the right man, we just signed an average manager. Like I said I don't want that mistake again, when I am suggesting that we should sign someone else, like one of those 5 names I mentioned, I was suggesting to sign him until the end of the year. or until we find the proper man. Sure I want to sign the right man with a long plan at least 5 years, I want us fans and players to feel safe and not to worry about their future with their new managers.

The only thing you are not agreeing with me, is Ranieri's huge impact (in negative way ofcourse) on the team, I am sure none of Iaquinta, Nedved, Camoranesi or Buffon are happy at the moment, I don't want to lose these guys, cause if we lose them, we have to start from the scratch, and trust me this time won't be any easier. Anyway time will tell all these.

the thing that bodes well for ranieri if he has any kind of brain is that he can somehow get the morale up in our team and take advantage of eurpoean commitments and make us work hard until the end of the year. but god help us, sack him then.

In the beginning of the season I said I wish we had an Abramovich like owner who actually cares about the matters of the club, and people here attacked me for that, saying how Abramovich is a money whore. Like who isn't?!

Atleast Abramovich shows interest in his club.

    abramovic cares about chelski? hahahaaa!!!!

    romanov does too. ask bozi.
Oh no, he just decided that spending hundreds on millions on players, wiping the debts of the club clean, and turning them from a UEFA cup contenders to CL contenders and league contenders for just one thing. He did it to foool Flieeekke into thinking he cares about the club.
