You know, somethimes I think you Del Piero bashers should thank that he is on the team, why? well when he is gone who are you going to blame for Juventus loses??

Everytime that Juve or Italy its not performing well, Del Piero is the one to blame, the one who we need to sell in order to be the best team in the world... I don't know if you have seen his numbers this year, he has played 9 games and score 5 goals !!!! and this is for a guy who's main job in the team its not scoring!!!

Poeple GET REAL!!!

I'm going to say this again, we are fans, we are not the ones who make decitions, we even can't go to Delle Alpi and complain against the board coz most of us live outside Italy, whats my point? well my point is that the people who are profesionals of soccer and have soccer has a job like managers and board members believes on Del Piero.

To think that all of them coaches and board members, doent know nothing about soccer, that Capello is a soccer foo, a guy who its just a lucky guy who won championchips with Milan, Real Madrid and Roma just of pure luck, that Moggi its just a soccer inept and not a soccer guru like ALL Italy wrongly thinks... That Lippi its just a amateur coach who happends to coach Italy just becouse he looks good smoking a cigar in the bench... guys these are people who understand soccer, who lives by soccer, who was been in soccer much more time that most (if not saying all) of the gusy that are in this forums... and these people all believe that Del Piero its important in Juve, that Del Piero its Juventus leader, that Del Piero its a great player, not the player that he was, but still a great player indeed...

We are fans, but we only watch soccer the day that Juventus play, and maybe read in the site what happend the rest of the times we can't see what happend in the looker room or in the practices, its much easier for us to pick on Del Piero, its very easy just to say
"Oh Just Sell Del Piero!! "

Well thats not the way it happend people, and specally not in Juve...

Remember Baggio? well in order us to sell Baggio we had to find the next Baggio, and introduce him in the team, and the board only sell Baggio whe they were absolutly sure that Del Piero will become Juventus next 10...

So Del piero will be treated the same way and we still haven't find the next 10 (and please don't mention Miccoli!!!), so when we find the next leader, the next 10, the next Juventus icon, only then we could think about selling Del Piero....

I'm going to sinish these, coz the last time I said these things a thread was close...

I just want to finish by saying that for a Juve fan its very easy to bash our players when they are not performing well, but for a true Juve fan its easier to back our players even if they are passing a hard time... Del Piero its our leader in this moment, if he deserve ir, its not our job to judge that, our job its to support him and support Juve...

And by the way... I'm against Del piero been sold :D:D:D:D
I fall in love with what you have said.....
But not with you offcourse :D:D:D

alex should be sold, because he is not playing very well this season and his salary and bonus is the highest in juventuz list. why should continue to keep him without any positive result from him

What will we gain from selling ALEX?
10 milions :greedy:
even if doubt anyone will offer us this sum.... what will we do with 10 milion???
buy Janks or any other mediocre player....
So we have to get rid of the team icon in the past 10 years for a mediocre player
NO THANKS:fero::fero::fero:

See the bigger picture. Selling Dp would get us decent money to buy ourselves a decent striker, or maybe an attacking midfielder or defender or whatever plus also free up his high end salary, which can be put to good use on the trasnfer market instead.

OK, call me plz a team that have decent striker or attacking midfielder and willling to exhange him with DP?
I'm not trying to say that DP is still the same worldclass player.... and surely he does not deserve to earn his current high salary....
but selling him is not the best idea around !!!!!!
He is our team icon since Baggio's departure, and I will not ask to get rid of him until we have a replacment of in same qualty of the 98DP, not the 05DP.... if u know what I mean

There's enough talent around. Its not like well be selling Dp and buying Ronaldinho. In true Juve style, we'll find a youngster with good potential and mould him in to a superstar, like we have done all these years.

Bojinov, Mutu, Cassano, Tevez, Gilardino, Adriano among others are players that Juventus would turn into worldclass players ;)
I want someone of those :D

But to sacrifice Juves icon would be a pain in the asS. I hope Capello and Moggi will do the right thing.

Cassano is great...
but others:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
seriously do u thinks the likes of Mutu and Bojinov could one day become a JUVE icon?
or JUVE second best scorer of all time??
last year everybody talk about Chevanton and praised his talent and where is he right now?
Monaco.... what a briliant future in the french league...
do u think Bojinov r a better player?
the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, both can shine for one year with the likes of Lecce andPerugia and in the very next year u don't even remmber where they r playing....
I know I will recieve a lot of attack for saying this but even Gilardino have not convince me....

We dont need a player who will be Juve's greatest or 2nd greatest of all time. All we want is a player who can add more value to the team, than Del Piero is atm.

If it is all about a bit more value.... personally I can live with Zalayeta...

what I wanna say again and a gain..... we won't receive any good offer for the current DP, so what is the real point of getting rid of him?????

when we sell Baggio we had young DP in our hands...
when we seel Zizo we get enough cash to sign Neddy and Gigi ...
the cash we will get from selling DP now can hardly brought u a packet of Lippi's cigar...

so do you agree that he should have been sold long time ago
At the end of 1998 when Delpiero enjoy his best year ever, scoring 21 Seria A goal (Second top goal scorer after Ronaldo) and 10 CL (Top scorer) we receive a massive 30$ Milion from Lazio for Alex (this cash exceed what Inter pay for Ronaldo in the same year)
And few weeks after Barcelona, Arsenal were willing to pay us around 40$ for his services....
Even then I beleived what DP can offer for JUVE in the next coming years will certenly exceed what we will receive form selling him.
I don't know if u agree with me but we won 3 serie A, 2 second place serie A, 2 CL finals, 3 Italian super cup sinca that date, and no one can deny the influence of DP in all of these trophies....
No one can deny that DP offer us in the past 10 years more than the likes of Zidane, Inzaghi... and even Baggio, and all of u remmber the sum of cash we receive for every one of those names.... so why easily all of u wanna get rid of him in the worst time....
and one last thing... if Milan keep thier faith in 38 Costacourta, 36 Maldini, I cann't see why someone woukd think it is crazy to keep faith in 30 Delpiero..
FORZA ALE FOR LIFE ......

Well whats the problem with keeeping del piero. He is scoring goals frequently! maybe the problem is that you aint seeing him play his old role. With capello, del piero is moved to a midfield /attacker. I've seen juventus matches this year and del piero is the attacker behind zlaten. it seems to me that we are playing
4-4-1-1 not 4-4-2
