Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (3 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

oh c'mon, of course we can have reason to sack him, we simply not satisfied with his work! what? your boss can't sack you because he's not impressed with your work for 3 years? where in the world that you need to bankrupt a company to get you sacked? nada

Before any decision is made one should first consider the alternative. Is there anyone better available? and at what cost? I am no expert in directors but as far as my limited knowledge goes I dont see any club pulling off better deals. Neither the guy running bayern nor madrid nor barca nor the milanese nor city nor PSG and certainly not liverpool. The only guy who i find doing a good job is the tottenham guy in both sales and purchases. What team are we exactly trying to emulate?
He made mistakes yes and broke promises yes but a lot of his purchases have been great hits too and came very cheap.

you not satisfied with his work = agnelli.

more importantly none of the fans hold any power in this matter. he will be assed based on performances of signings and profit - loss from signgins.

I don't think he should be fired (the season has only just begun, and we have yet to see where we stand come April/May, not to mention that our CL campaign could go beyond February considering our CL group isn't exactly the hardest), but just like the deadwood with expiring contracts, he shouldn't have his contract renewed at this point in time.

Should he be fired? Nope. Should his contract be renewed? Given his current form and if we have bigger aspirations than just being the big fish in Serie A, then probably no. The job of the DS of Juventus is just going to get tougher. Serie A is on a decline and I don't think it's going to regain it's sheen anytime soon. So we'll have even more trouble enticing the crème de la crème. Of course I'll eat humble pie if Marotta does manage to do all that...

He clearly has no idea about buying quality from outside italy but he has increased the overall quality of the squad.

He has failed his major task of bringing in a quality forward but the mercatto hasn't been a failure. Sacking him would be a reactionary move and not a good one at all

I'm not upset for him not getting us a better striker. I'm upset because he still felt the need of getting us Bendtner.

It was better to get no one at all than get Bendtner. Since he's on a free loan, at least we won't lose any money like we did with Elia if it goes all wrong.

That's the only consolation we have.

Fuck. :depressed
