Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (2 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

Wait, what? This is a totally different situation. Cannavaro was a star in Italy, Barza was not and he had declined and was brought as a backup. But, since Capello gets the edge because he's the one responsible for Canna playing much better for us than he ever did for Inter.

Look at it this way, if you had to sacrifice Conte or Marotta.. who would you sacrifice?
Dont lower urself to those questions

How do we know that Marotta's plan wasn't to make Barzagli compete with Bonucci and Chiellini?
Every player is brought to compete, but there are signings predicted for the starting eleven and then there are signings for depth and Barza was clearly for depth and not made to be our best defender.

What a stupid question, absolutely nobody on this board has claimed Marotta is a more positive influence to Juve than Conte.

then how do you explain toni. toni was a star as well, but on decline and brought as back up. how come conte didn't transform him?

your question makes no sense. i would not extent marotta's contract until i see how his signigns perfor. and conte is banned for a year and a fuking half anyway.

why would vidal agree to join a crappy team (at that time) like juve over a cl contender like bayern?

it must have been conte
Vidal was not a sought after name last summer, he was not a big name, he had interest from bayern and Juve and a rumour of late bid of Chelsea. So Marotta didn't have any competition for Vidal, i'm sure if any team wanted Vidal, he would be wearing another colors right now, because Marotta buys on his own terms.

Lower myself? I guess the answer was Conte then because you know he was more important to the success of Barza. There is a reason why Barza started playing like a boss under Conte and not with Del Neri.

I have nothing against Marotta, I just think that Conte deserves more of the Barza success than Marotta does. It would be disrespectful to Conte to give Marotta more of the credit for Barza playing this way because Marotta never intended this to happen and neither did we or Wolfsburg.

Barzagli was good under Delneri too tbh. Just not as good as he's been this year. I attribute that to the team working together a lot more and a much more compact midfield, while back then we had the 4-4-2 with Motta and Krasic on the right and Melo with tampon-bitch in the middle.

That's what I'm discussing as well? Who deserves more credit.

Huh? Conte never coached Toni. He never believed in him and sent him away.

I think he's done a good job, but should be replaced by someone more ambitious. I mean, we don't have to fire him at any cost. But should start looking around for someone with more expertise when it comes to dealing with big transactions. Someone who has knowledge of the Italian market but who isn't afraid of taking reasonable risks.

Marotta is the one who brought Barza (for peanuts btw) to Juve, not Conte.

But Conte squeezed the best out of him by helping him realise his ability, believing in him etc.

They both deserve credit for him. Stop complaining. If it wasnt for Marotta, who knows where would Barza be now. But if it wasnt for Conte, who knows would Barza become what he is today.
