seven what's currently going on in the city of ottawa? do you know? then why should anyone care about a country the size of the city of ottawa.
I do know what's going on in Ottawa. I have an uncle that lives there. Bad example, I'm sorry. But I get your point. Which is bullshit I'm afraid. It's something North Americans don't seem to realise. In the history of Europe small countries have been very significant. Belgium has been far more important to the history book than Ottawa ever will be. Which is why it does matter what happens in Belgium.

Moreover, yes I think one should know at least a thing or two of what goes on in most countries. Especially if a crisis has been going on for over a year.

Oh, here's a link for you retards:

I bet you laughed your ass off when people in Yugoslavia first started to say they wanted independence.
What, you mean back in 1991?

I didn't give a fuck about it... because I was FIVE YEARS OLD!

Go have a little :melayyanandmessi: to relieve some of your stress. Perhaps you'll think a little clearer after that.

Because Belgium has a "great deep rich history" we should respect it more than Canada?

Do you know why you are arrogant?

From what I quickly gathered, he didn't say that Belgium should be respected more. He just said that the news matters just as much as Canadian news matters.

Andy,

if your society makes you lazy it's hard to be full of energy to go to school. It's that simple.
Since you've never attended an American school. How do you know?

Truth is guys. Greg and I did make a few posts about Americans being lazy. So Seven got us with that. I'm sure we didn't mean to label the entirety of American society as lazy so I'll apologize on both of our behalves. I'm sure Greg didn't mean to portray the entire country as lazy in use of the word nation. We misspoke, complaining of how the current generation is becoming less work hard that it's predecessors. Neither of us thought Andries would grab and run with his anti-American quasi nationalistic pro-European rhetoric. It's really not his fault, we opened the door.

Now I would like to rescind my prior statement and say that while American generations may be more lazy that our forefathers, that complaint is not necessarily an indication of a lazy society. As shown in statistics of work hours per week and vacation time, etc etc.

Never the less, Andries really needs to learn about other people's cultures. Especially those of North America, a place he has never visited. If indeed it is true that our "great empire" is crumbling down, then why would we need to know the comings and goings of Belgian politics? When we could be examining our own. Secondly, many of us have never been to Europe let alone Italy so Andries needs to quit stereotyping based on fruitless biases and chill the fuck out. I'm sure people are lazy everywhere not just in the U.S., Spain, and Italy. But Andries needs to realize that we Americans aren't going to sit around and listen to the nationalistic ravings of some European whose history and wrong doings in the world far outnumber our own.

Greg,

you know you were caught. You're not making any sense with that post. I didn't say Americans were lazy. You did. I didn't say so based on one example about a fat woman buying beans, you did.

So what is your reasoning then anyway: that Americans are ethnically lazy?
Uhhh, but by what leap-of-faith logic does that have to do with drawing up conclusions comparing one, or more, non-fava-bean-eating Americans with Belgians?

I don't get it. :confused2

It was pretty funny, Burke. Kudos.

But I'd still prefer it if you guys wouldn't laugh about Belgium. At least not during these weeks. It's weird to be Belgian right now and for the very first time I get the strange feeling our country may finally rip in two. As ignorant as you may be about Belgium as a country and Europe as a whole, I'm sure you guys understand it's not so great to see your country dissolving. Apart from that you have to consider the consequences for Europe. What will they do with Brussels? And what with the Belgian compromise-model, on which was based a lot of European and international policy?

yeah....real "shocking":rolleyes2

2 sides to every story.....obviously Hood tv cant comprehend that statement

I wouldnt consider some black broad with marijuana earrings to be a credible "witness"....obviously she has had run-ins with the police, most likely been arrested for endangeing the welfare of her kids

I've had this shit happen to me, where the camera only gets what happened AFTER the suspect does something incredibly stupid, and then the end result is filmed

the only thing the cops got wrong was not pepper-spraying her before they cuffed her up :p
