Not that it made a difference. They ovbiously can do without him as evidenced by the game against Messina. :yuck:!
Let's see wad happens in the next game, but ur probably rite.
Crespo teamed with Sheva b4, and both fired quite a bit of goals. And with a decent striker like Tomasson, omg.

Shevchenko down but not out
Monday, 31 January 2005
AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko faces a lay-off of around two weeks after injuring his right shin during Sunday's 1-0 home defeat by Bologna FC.

No serious damage
The European Footballer of the Year underwent a scan which ruled out the possibility of any serious damage to the fibula. However, he suffered heavy bruising and Shevchenko will be sidelined for a fortnight or more.

World Cup blow
The 28-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in 19 Serie A games, is therefore likely to miss league matches against FC Messina Peloro, S.S. Lazio and Reggina Calcio. In addition, he will be unavailable for Ukraine's FIFA World Cup Group 2 qualifier away to Albania on 9 February.

Back for United
However, Milan expect Shevchenko to recover in time for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against Manchester United FC at Old Trafford on 23 February.
