    Look you can either go on and on about this or accept that both me and my brother are posting here. I don't even see why it is important to know who's who anyway. Isn't the content of what he/she posts the most important?

    Erik I googled Srebrenica and got lots of results and all but most of it was too detailed or not much details. Could you tell us what happened??

    It's Luca and Andries, though Andres sounds better :). And Luca's first name is actually Jan, but he likes Luca (which is his second name) better. It's no fun using your real names on a forum.

    Srebrenica was an enclave in Bosnia during the civil wars. The United Nations had sent peace keeping forces to the area and the Dutch squadron was posted at the town of Srebrenica; with a predominantly Muslim population.

    The Dutch force, however, underestimated the dangerous situation. When the Serbians attacked the region, there was little the Dutch could do and so they surrendered; effectively sending thousands of Bosnian Muslims into the hands of the Serbs who would massacre them. Still today, the Bosnians are working on recovering the bodies from the mass graves and giving them proper buriels. Men were murdered first, then women, then children too.

    The Dutch troops came home safely; the Dutch government fell, the nation imploded as the economy cripled and the people were in shock. But all of it just seems so little compared to what happend to the people of that town in Bosnia...
