This is what I found on today's Tuttosport about the injuried/suspended players.

Injuried (matches that they will miss):
Zanetti (2)
Trezeguet (2)
Legrottaglie (6)
Giannichedda (4)
Marchionni (2)
Tudor (2)
PIccolo (2)

Banned:
Nedved
Birindelli
Balzaretti

Could be back for the Verona match:
Del Piero
Zalayeta

Now, I realize Tuttosport (like any other sportive paper) is not so reliable, but
I just hope they exaggerated (esp on Trez) to create a more impressive news.
Me too! I thought Zanetti was already training & that Trez would only be out the same length of time as DP.

Well, Zalayeta's back as of now...whatever good that might do.
Oh, you'd be surprised as to what it can do. Juventus won't have a true veteran in their last 2/3 of the pitch (barring Camoranesi). To have someone like Zalayeta up front, who's done the whole shahbang, it's quite valuable for someone like Bojinov or Palladino. Plus, he puts the ball in the net when it counts the most. Zalayeta is by far one of Juventus' most reliable subs.

I think our defence is fine. Our midfield is where the problems lie, Marchisio and Paro don't offer us enough stability (yet). In 03/04 we had the same problem, we brought in Emerson and Cannavaro the following season. While Cannavaro got the most accolades for fixing our defence, I think it worked mainly due to Emerson's filtering work on the midfield. We miss that type of stability, especially with Zanetti and somewhat Giannichedda's absence. This match is looking like another Marchisio-Paro match though, I hope they'll offer some more protection this time.

the important thing is to be close of the first 2 positions since it is still a long season
We need to win 4-5 matches in a row, that way we would escape the attention of our rivals for promotion.

:agree:

We miss a quality defensive midfielder.

With Zanetti or Giannichedda we would do better.

Without any quality defensive midfielders, we might as well go all out vs Verona:

Buffon
Zebina Kovac Boumsong Chiellini
Camoranesi Paro Marchisio
Bojinov Zalayeta Palladino

Nedved was today disqualified for 5 (!!!) matches. Somebody trying really hard to prevent from us to go back to Serie A...
