I care passionately about football, but I have NEVER thrown anything at a football match. Like I said these people are out to do one thing - cause trouble!
I respect that you are passionate. You know what, I am too. And that's a good thing.

But to truly understand how much Italians care about football you need to witness it first hand. Back in 2002 I went to Italy with my soccer team and I saw how the Milan fans reacted when Sheva scored the winning goal.

In Italy football is life or death. And some of the most extreme ultras simply go to far.

So, most of the hooligans actually support teams while a small percentage, Maybe 10-20% are troublemakers, like you say.

There are some rumours Catania could even be thrown out of the league.
I say do that and reinstate Juventus into Serie A and give them Catania´s position.
 Great idea! Unfortunately rossi filled a lot of positions in Figc with interesti, so I doubt it would happen.

Football in italy is a religion.
:agree: It's my religion too!

Del Piero is God!

No, it doesnt happen in Rome, Milan, or even Firenze for that matter ....never has :rolleyes2

Whether you realize it or not, there are idiots supporting EVERY team in Italy who do stupid things...not just in Sicily

And you being half Sicilian doesnt justify your ignorance
Ok sorry I didnt express right. English is my third language ---
I didnt mean anything against Sicilians. In fact I love Sicily. Im just saying it is stupid for a someone with power in calcio to say that the incidents surprise them. I totally agree with you : there are idiots in every team in Italy and everywhere. But Sicily is a special place. And you are the ignorant if you dont know what happened during the 80 and 90 in Sicily and what is happening nowadays. Im not going to teach a History lesson here. Just remember the Judge named Falcone. In Italy people choose to abovoid talking about it and Sicily remains there as this rare place in the south.......

Im just talking about historical- social fact.
The context my friend only that.
Once again sweety Iam not talking about sicilians, the people.
Im just saying, a place where the State of Law doesnt exist is a place where you should be more careful. That´s all. I felt surprised and really annoyed me that the italian goverment showed surprise for what happen when they have totally ignored the situation in Sicily for years.
While in the north they enjoy a first world life in the south you might know the social situation is about to explote all the time.
Sicilians has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT, at the end they are the victims of the situation.
You dont understand anything... You misunderstood everything I said.

You dont need to be so nervous.

Finally. Im not going to shut my mouth out. Im going to say whatever I want wherever I want. Democracy and free expresion are for that.
