I'm happy with a 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1. I wouldn't know whether to choose TREZI! or Amauri though. I'm one of the few on here who still think Amauri is still going to be very good for us. He played well last game he just didn't have his finishing right. Once he gets into a rythym though that won't be a problem and we all know how good he is when given the right service (i.e when he's playing infront of Diego, Del Piero, Giovinco, Candreva, Camo).
I like Amauri but not for Juve..

he needs to play in a squad where they play long balls in the air and into the box, where Juve dont really go for that. plus Grosso and Grygera still cant lift the ball when they cross it for some strange reason?

I would go with something like this

Manniger

Zebina-Canna-Chiellini-DC

--------Melo------Marchi----

--Canderva---Alex---Gio--

---------------Trezi----------

Could be viewed as 4-4-2 as well but I think here Alex won't have to drift wide as much. While Melo and Marchi would provide the defensive cover.

The only problem could be the defensive cover, the CMs will need to have a good defensive game and we need Chiellini back.
I like this formation, and it can change to a 4-4-2 with Candreva and Gio on the wings, Marchisio as CM and Melo as DM. But lets get something straight.. Our best DM this season has been Poulsen.. Melo has been unconsistent; he plays well in one match and plays as a disaster the next. Also, he plays the same role (CM) as Marchisio, and in the latter formation, we would need a DM to help the defence..
That leaves out Sissoko and Poulsen, and even though Sissoko has better technique, fysique and offcause tackling, he lacks vision and passing compared to Poulsen. Because we have such an awful defence that can´t deal with any counter-attack, we can´t afford to loose the ball in midfield. So, because Poulsen plays the simple passing game, and has a better positioning, I would play him instead of Sissoko, and I would play Marchísio anytime before Melo...
Therefore, bench Melo and Sissoko and play Poulsen and Marchisio (One Dm and one Cm) and NEVER play 3 CM/DM as in the usual 4-3-1-2, because it leaves too little offensive capabilities in the team.

Thats my oppinion anyhow:)

Marchisio should be first choise and then its between Melo and Sissoko. When it comes down to that choise i have to refer to Andy's post..
I'd also try out Marchisio there. Melo has showen all season that he just cant do it good in that position.. While Sissoko does better just in front of the defence as a destroyer, passing the ball to the CM's who should be just infront of him. Insted of going forward with the ball and ending up losing it anyway.

I see this often on these forums, and it appears that people either have never known of a defensive midfielder, playing in a defensive midfield position, as in protecting the defence first and foremost, OR...they assume that any defensive midfielder must be a regista.

I have ALWAYS thought that Momo is better the further back he plays as his passing game is a constant disaster. The further UP the field he plays the more damaging he becomes to our offensive moves. His main strengths are very clearly TACKLING and ATHLETICISM. You don't seem to 'get it' SUNS...

Good at forward runs??? AGreed on the 'running' suggestion...but as soon as he has to actually receive and redistribute the ball, he is a corpse of our beautiful game. Because he has the first touch of an 2 year old boar, and the second touch of a wombat.

Defensive midfielders, players whose main ability is tackling, need to be deployed where they can defend and tackle...not attack. It seems so easy for me to grasp this...but not others.

If Momo is too awful to even be able to play a simple short pass from the defence to a better midfielder, then its lunacy to suggest playing him further up the park, where pressure will be higher and his movement, with the ball, must be quicker and more accurate as he will have the opposing defence and midfield to deal with, rather than just pesky strikers near his own defensive line...

i think the only solution for juve to win against udinese in udine is to play with:

10-10-5 as well as playing both gigi&alex.M

and even with this there is a possibility of a draw.n maybe loss as well as grygera is there in the back n may gift a bck pass or score an own goal

I remember that goal well. He scored the winner against his former club, seconds after coming in. And he celebrated it :D

To see that betting odds on most websites have the same odds for Juve losing or winning against a fourth from bottom side just tells you how great this season has been.
