the match tonight is gonna be tough. We should be able to dominate the midfield, so just watch out for their counters and we're fine :D. I hope Giovinco starts, he could have some fun with their defense. Iaquinta can come on in the second half.

Marino 'not afraid of Juve'
Tuesday 27 January, 2009
Udinese are in a deep crisis, but Coach Pasquale Marino insists his men “are not afraid of Juventus” ahead of Wednesday’s game.

The Friulani have picked up just three points from their last 10 Serie A games, raising questions over how long the tactician can stay in charge.

“On Sunday we struggled, as Palermo went on to the field looking to win and Davide Ballardini’s side are going through a positive moment,” said Marino of the 3-2 defeat in Sicily.

“We are improving our form, but keep paying the price for the small distractions, those little details that in the end become decisive.”

It is certainly not the best way to prepare for a match with a Juventus side just three points off the top of the table.

“Nobody can doubt Juve’s quality and it is difficult to find any weak points in this squad,” continued the Coach.

“It will be a tough game, but that must not make us afraid, as we need to provide a performance up to the task.

“It would be a great opportunity to bounce back by doing well against this fantastic team.”

Aleksandr Lukovic is suspended, but there should be no other concerns for Marino, as Antonio Di Natale has fully recovered.

Fabio Quagliarella could be dropped after missing a penalty against Palermo, as could Simone Pepe.
