I have absolutely no problem in having Matri as our second choice CF, I actually like him.

I don't think we can expect him getting playing time vs Udine. Conte puts a lot of emphasis on the tactical aspect of the game, and 4 days is just not enough for a player to gel. Two scenario's for him getting playing time:
