Disorganised and vulnerable in defense...no tactics going forward...players jog around the park with no urgency...no winning mentality....

Nothing has changed since motta took over allegri.

Thought Mbangula and Yildiz were good, Thuram wasn't bad either.

But overall another disaster, whatever Motta is trying to do isn't working. No movement, no shape, no organisation and no plan. Just seems like a gaggle of players who are just kicking it around and hoping for the best, a mess really.

Yeah this is pointless. Seriously first time I genuinely feel it's time to start looking for more qualified coach this very minute.

Incredibly dissapointing and bland approach game after game. Like there's zero urgency or effort to even try to score.

That's the frustrating thing. There doesn't seem to be any particular tactic, just pass the ball from side to side. The players look clueless on what to do to turn the game around.

@Alen made a good point in that we played the same way as with Vlahovic, even though Nico is nothing like him. We did the same thing when Weah had to play CF. It is probably one of the most worrying things from Motta in that he either is too stubborn to change his tactics for the players available or has no idea how to. I think even Allegri critics would agree that he was good at changing the tactics based on the players he could use when ones were injured/suspended. The lack of imagination from Motta is a big concern.

First time? Lol

This guy has looked out of his depth for MONTHS.

And yes, a Mancini would do 5x better with what we have at our disposal than what Motta has shown so far. We need someone with Calcio know how, can organise a defence, discipline, install grinta and get us doing the basics right again.

Another hard earned point in our glorious quest of transitioning towards missing out on a Top 4 finish…

Thankfully our direct competitors still are just as inconsistent too.

Are they though ? 3 of 4 cl places are gone to inter Napoli and Atalanta - it’s us Lazio Milan Bologna and fiorentina fighting it out for the last one

We’ve only won 7 games from 19 rounds in the league and somehow still are only within 9 points of 2nd place in the current standings…

You tell me.

Just need couple of signings to click and then we can easily secure fourth place.
I almost lost all trust in this squad achieving anything of note this season but then again as a fan i do still hope that with a couple of signings this January we will eventually manage to string a few wins together and reach our minimum objective, especially when taking into account as i said the inconsistency of our direct competitors too, but truth is that expectations are rather low.

That performance was another example of the 'casual' attitude that Tacchinardi was referring to.

We go 1-0 up, seem to think the game is won despite all evidence suggesting the opposite and get careless when attacking.

The goal we concede is a prime example of casual defending. Karamoh effectively runs past 3 players by doing very little and Vlasic has a huge amount of time to bring the ball down to shoot.

Juventus under Thiago Motta have collected just 33 points in 19 games—their worst mid-season total since Delneri’s 2010/11 campaign.
True. Our half-season is identical to Ferrara's 2009/10 half-season, where we also collected exactly 33 points, and is only slightly better than Delneri's, who managed 31 points. In both of those seasons, we finished 7th.
By comparison, Ranieri in his two seasons, Conte in his three, Max in his eight and Sarri in his single season here all had stronger mid-season performances than Motta and consistently finished in the top 4.

Everything suggests a finish in 5th, 6th, or 7th place.

I am not saying you are wrong, all I'm saying is we should give you an entire season before questioning you and your statistics.
